I'm just wondering, is Bungie.net planning to support Mac OS X with IE 5.2? I know it "sort of" supports IE 4 for Mac, and definately IE 6 for Windows, but I've been using 5.2 on my PowerBook, and have been having some "degrade" problems. Pretty much everything is the same color, there are no line or spacing breaks between virtually anything, and the top/bottom menus don't appear.

The site overview states that Mac OS X with Safari 1 works, but that has just as many problems. Safari refuses to display the background on the front page, it shows a messed up bottom menu at the top, the top menu is just text that has no spacing breaks, and what gets me the most is that the font is always either way too big, or way too small. Since I don't have a scroll mouse for my laptop, I can't use the ctrl+scroll to alter the font size(which I don't think would help, seeing as the font sizes don't match up with anything on IE 6).

After reviewing the Help page, it may be because I haven't enabled cookies. I'm not sure if I have or haven't, but I'll check. If anyone else has had these problems, and was able to fix them, would you let me know? Thanks.

Even Microsoft has stopped supporting Mac IE. Once Apple released Safari, Microsoft knew they were beat on the Mac browser front, so they stopped development of IE for Mac. The latest version of Mac IE is horribly obsolete now; the last update was a couple of years ago if I recall right.

I don't have any problems with b.net on Safari. Which version are you using, and which version of OS X do you have?

If you don't got it, you want it. If you got it, you want more of it. Of course if you don't know what it is, it's hard to get any in the first place.

Safari on Bungie.net ....Best irony ever.

Actually, no Safari on Bungie.net would be the best irony ever.

Try a forced refresh (CTRL+F5 usually).

I have a flurry of Mac browsers, and they all seem to work fine. The ones I have that use the WebKit engine seem to run better, such as Safari, Shiira, and Sunrise. The browsers that run on the Gecko engine are much faster overall, but a tad sluggish while scrolling on B.net.

Hope this helps matey.

Ditto on Veloci comments.... no problems here

But I am about to upgrade to Tiger (OS 10.4), so we will have to see what happens then. dave

Safari should be fine - this site handles it much better than Firefox. IE in any form on the Mac is completely unsupported. Use something else if you have a Mac, don't use Mac IE.

Thanks all. I'll see what I can do with Safari, probably the cookies, I've neglected to check still. Anyway, thanks again.

Any "decent" windows computer, is less appealing to me as I like using Macs. I find Macs to be better and less problematic. I'll stick with my Apple thank you.

Actually, no longer making games for Mac and even the PC would be even more ironic.
