My game is very slow... Even when I play in campaign mode the game is slow! I had no problems 2 weeks ago, but I'm having this problem for 3 days now, I didn't made any hardware changes, I did change to Kerio Firewall, but I tried turning it off and I0m still having the same problem.

I have tried this too:
------------------------
8!(the following is taken directly from the M$ website as provided by a contributing link below. This procedure will allow your PC to run with ALL unnecessary services off.) Note You may experience a temporary loss of some services functionality when you follow these steps. Restoring the settings restores the functionality, but may result in the return of the original error message or behavior.
1. Click Start, click Run, type msconfig in the Open box, and then click OK.
2. On the General tab, click Selective Startup.
3. Under Selective Startup, click to clear the following check boxes:
• Process SYSTEM.INI File
• Process WIN.INI File
• Load Startup Items
4. On the Services tab, click to select the Hide All Microsoft Services check box, and then click Disable All.
5. Click OK, and then click Restart.
------------------------

But it didn't worked, I need some help here!

If it's anything like ZoneAlarm, turning of the firewall may not actually turn it off. I may still be consuming resources.

Can I ask what your system specs are what what settings you've got running?

in addition to what sexy said, have you checked for spyware, trojans, or viruses? those are the culprates most of the time, also have you tried a clean install of halo?
(we really need system specs tho)

Well, I dom't think showing you guys the specs would really help, since my game was running fine just a few days ago.

But here they are anyway:
1,80GHz
512MB RAM
GeForce FX 5200

Is that all you guys need?

By the way, no viruses, no spyware.

I think that's why everyone seem's to think you have a trojan or something. Do yourself a favor and get "The Ultimate Trouble Shooter." Just google it....it's cheap.

yah, your right, but the processor speed is a little slow, by the way what virus scannars did you use? what spyware scannars did you use? did your computer crash before this all happened? and another thing, do you have a registry cleaner, because i just bought one and it sped up my computer a lot, last thing is have you defraged your hard drive in a while? that could also contribute to all this

1)Check for harmful files.
2)Update or get better video card
3)Lower your resolution to 800x600, check Video Settings and fiddle around with it.
