Not going to bother stating all the positives of Halo 2, I will only state the reasons why I don't like 3 and HATE Reach
Halo 3:
Awful maps (not really bad but no instant classics)
Shell out money for every single little map pack (You still have to pay for them ~3 years later)
Awful melee system (both ppl dying all the time)
That's really it for Halo 3, still play it and like it unlike Reach
Halo Reach:
Stupid recoil system
On demand time out system (armor lock)
Armor lock ruining splattering
500 Cal sniper rifle vs vehicles?
Vehicles having set health limits
Most of the custom game options being broken
Limited jumping height
Revenant being so over powered and good vs everything
Awful maps again (Hemmorage is more like pissing blood compared to coag or BG)
Still charging money for old map packs
map votes resulting in a tie randomly select the outcome?

So it's microsoft to blame for everything. It's a shame how rushed Halo 2 was. It had potential. At least bungie got things right in Reach. Started strong and finished strong. That's all that matters anyway when it comes to the series legacy.
I Don't consider ~6 months after release 'finishing strong'. I thought reach was already finished. If you are talking about Bungie as a whole and not just reach I sort of think of the term 'Sprint to the finish' but in reality it is 'limp to the finish'.
What other game have I ever seen the legendary editions stalling to sell. There are at least 4 remaining in my local Best Buy.
