Now, I like the idea of having a sort of "expanded universe" of the Halo series, with different games filling in the gaps.
However, that wouldn't fit in with the whole "one huge game every X number of years complete with multiplayer" thing.
So, I propose: Halo Episodes.
Each episode would be released for a reasonable price ($5-$10) and contain a few (3-5) missions, each focusing on a particular era.
For example, one episode could have you fighting in Arcadia alongside Red Team. Another episode could have you in an ODST's boots on Reach. Another could reverse the roles and have you fight on Installation 04 as Thel 'Vadamee. Yet another could let you play as Johnson. There could even be space combat episodes.
These would serve much the same purpose as Legends: pointing a microscope at key points not mentioned in the rest of the games. There is a lot of fighting to be done, and we've only played through a small portion...
So, how does this idea sound?
