I'd be happy to see this, even if it wasn't necessarily by Bungie. I'd definitely prefer 343 to do this instead of AAA Halo titles.

I dunno, episodic games have a tendancy to have their scheduels slip.

At one point, I thought this was going to be a reality. The idea sounds familiar...

Either way, if 343 were to do this, I would be very, very pleased. This idea is much better than "Halo 4"
Actually, it's very similar to the original concept behind ODST, before it ballooned into an actual game.

Well, a very small actual game, anyway.

Busy guarding misplaced gates to nothing.

Sounds like a good idea, I could see some complaining from little kids about no multiplayer, but multiplayer on live for me is kind of a disappointment. I'd love to see if anyone were to do this.

sounds like a good idea but if it happened 343 would make it, and i doubt they would make this because despite 343 having some good people in it, well... its run by Microsoft so of course its gonna be "throw crappy campaign in with explosions, make it mainly about multiplayer games and milk as much money as we can out of it." i mean very select few actually care about the story, the masses just want a good multiplayer game.

Dark Neptune, a young amateur astronomer whose gaming life is no different from other teenagers of his age, though he controls it more strictly then others.

I say:

"Thumbs down".

Sorry bro, this ain't Alan Wake or some other random game. I understand what you're saying, but no, too many episodes and you're gonna confuse casual gamers about the Halo universe, and then without out these games have to rely on hardcore Halo fans for the money instead.

Good plan for something new to the Halo series, bad idea for marketing.

It sounds great.

Bungie won't do this, though. Too much work.
