Thanks for choosing to whine over being a productive member of the community and possible element towards advancing Reach.

Okay, so what about issues involving having a Verified email but never receiving a Carnage Report even though the option is ticked?

This issue didn't bother me before the Beta testing potentiality. But now it's getting a bit annoying.

The Carnage Report might be monthly. I got one at the beginning of November, and there haven't been anymore since then. It was the first issue of Carnage Report - 11.03.10.001 - and I got mine on the 5th.

Okay, but I didn't get one then and I know my account was all set for that. I find this really odd that the email account is verified but didn't get the Carnage Report, which concerns me when Beta testing offers get sent out.

Gamertag: Sarge 117

I have a similar problem, as well. My e-mail is verified (it is my WLID e-mail), and I never received the Carnage Report.

Yax is a shining beacon in these dark times. You should all strive to be more like Yax.

I've been wondering if it's necessary to have our bnet account linked with a Gamertag for this or how important it is to use real information for the Real Name, City, State and Postal boxes. I am rather careful (or maybe paranoid) when it comes to personal information and the internet.

I also hope we get a PM along with the emails because I absolutely never check my e-mail account (partly because it is always filled to the brim with spam)

If anybody has some answers for this, that would be great.

I don't know about real name, but I think they'll being factor such as location(country, state might also be important) into account when choosing testers. Much like Microsoft does when they give the new dashboard out to beta testers. I don't think you'll need to give your exact location.

Nice FAQ, thanks. I wasn't quite sure if I had been verified or not.

I'm sure more information will come to us in time. Probably in this thread.

I think I'll just leave the Name field empty even though this might ruin my chances of being picked :/

If this is the state of my art, then I secede.

Awesome. I really like the way Bungie is involving the bnet community with betas and whatnot. Good -blam!-.

Cheers!

My Comcast email isn't working either and I've looked everywhere.

I couldn't get a Comcast e-mail address to work either. I added the webmaster address to my contacts and still got nothing. I tried a different e-mail and got the verification immediately.

I got a question.

Is the beta gonna be on Playstation 3 as well?

Because I thought Bungie was going Multiplatform after Reach.

I've tried multiple times now to verify my email address. I tried three times with one address and once with a new one. I've checked the spam folder each time and it's never there. I don't understand why I'm not receiving the email.

Nobody knows anything about the beta other than
A. There will be one eventually for whatever Bungie is working on in the future.
B. Not everyone will be invited.

THey've said nothing related to platforms.

Alec, did you try switching to Yahoo or Gmail e-mail addresses? Those apparently are working whenever other e-mails won't for a few people, myself included.

Not yet, but that was next in my action plan. Unfortunately I have to wait another day before I can request another email.
Nevermind, it automatically sent one when I changed to gmail.

This is very helpful. Just one thing, though. Can you add a section that states what emails will get the verification email sent? I had to create a gmail account instead of my real email address (Comcast) in order to recieve it. I think this would benefit users greatly.

Indeed, I had the same problem.

Hello! I'm a male!

Mine still isn't working at all. Neither my Yahoo! account or my AOL account.

Note that for Yahoo, it does get sent to the spam folder and not the normal inbox.

I support PORYGON.

"Alas poor Yorik, I knew him... IN AMERICA."-Bandit Keith

So I'm guessing my AOL account won't get sent the email from what I've read so far.

Should I just use a different email account or just give it some time(for AOL, if it will even work in the future)?

If you've tried to send it, wait a few minutes. If it doesn't pop up, then yeah, try a new one. I haven't heard anybody say it has taken a few hours personally. It seems to be either near-instant, or never. I'd switch. Gmail and Yahoo seem to be the two good ones, with one or two exceptions perhaps.

I have a problem with the ''State'' section of my address.

My country is Puerto Rico, city is Carolina; but state?

Everyone has told me that Bungie has stated that if you're not a resident of the United States, you only need to select your country, but my country (Puerto Rico) is territory of the U.S., and soon-to-be the 51th state of the U.S.

Do I still leave it blank? Or...?
