I've been wanting to get Halo PC, and I know you can get online and play multiplayer with it, but do you have to have high-speed internet to do it? And does it cost anything?

alright, halo pc allows you to play with any internet connection, but it is preferable that you have broadband because you may get booted or kicked from a server because ur ping will be high if u have a dialup connection, i wouldnt suggest online gaming with a dialup connection. 2ndly halo pc is a one time payment, you pay for the disc and cd key and your good for the life of that cd, you dont have to pay for online privilages like xbox live its completely free, also they made a halo custom edition which allows you to create and download new maps which is also completely free when you have the halo cd and key, which will generally cost you $20 to $30. hope that lifts the fog for you about halo. if you have any more questions just pm me or post another thread were glad to be of service. ;)

Well-Here:
-Yes, it's free to play online. But your electric bill.s will soar, when yuou start playing you can't stop.
-You don't need broadband, but to play good, and to run your own server(Broadband required for running your own server), you'll need broadband. You'll lag, but can still play with dial-up.

Yeah, but I don't know how, I don't have an Xbox. Besides, the mouse and keyboard is better than that piece of crap..

Do yourself a favor and get used to playin with keyboard and mouse. Like B said you are much more accurate. I was at Walmart today and tried out the X-Box 360. I was not impressed to say the least. Yeah it's the best console on the market, but seemed lacking after playin for a year and a half on the pc. I couldn't stand the controller, (probably from not using one for so long) but really noticed how touchy the contoller was. I guess that's why they added auto-aim on the game I was playin.

Next you should consider a fast internet connection. It's not neccesary to play the game but limit's what Halo is capable of. Like runnin your own server, or playin Halo CE.

Happy Hunting
