I'm an Anarchist. I don't need a government to be a good person, but I'm glad it's here because some of you clearly do.

Recently I've been thinking about purchasing more of the Halo soundtracks. Right now, I only have the Halo 2 soundtrack, and though I'm pleased with it, It wasn't good enough to convince me to buy more.

I'd appreciate it if you'd provide me with your thoughts on the various Halo soundtrack and which one you think is the best to help me decide whether or not to purchase more.

My favorite group.

Keep buying them! They are masterpieces. I suggest you buy the soundtrack for Halo: CE, it's a beauty.

If you have Halo 2's soundtrack and are looking for something different then I'd recommend not getting the Halo 3 one. Although I think it's brilliant, a lot of the content is similar to Halo 2's, and it seems like you want something a bit different.

ODST's is more sombre and relaxed than the original trilogy's soundtrack. It's cont some fantastic tracks, and is a great album to listen to when walking somewhere late at night. It perfectly captures the mood Bungie were aiming to create.

Reach's soundtrack, however, is much more epic. There's some darker stuff there, with some incredible harmonies and a huge orchestra. What's cool about the Reach soundtrack is that you can hear influences from both the original trilogy and ODST in there.
It's harder to listen to in the sense that the atmosphere it creates is a feeling of desperation and hopelessness, but from a musical standpoint I'd definitely recommend it.

You know, when you're having a bad day, you just gotta let yourself go!

I you haven't played Halo CE in years, I suggest you buy it. The nostalgia is great!

Inside another dead body. It's the last place they'll look

CORPSEPTION.
Win.

I'm unfortunately unable to recall the CE soundtrack, however I recall that 2's soundtrack is one of its many points that are often taken as a benchmark, compared to other games of the series.

3's soundtrack was rather good, such as Three Gates, and the Warthog Run.
Reach's was excellent in parts, because apparently, Marty had gone back to 2's soundtrack for inspiration. So Reach's will sound like a blend between 2 and 3.

ODST was a good game, but I can't remember if its soundtrack matched up to its campaign or not.

The Razor.

For the honour of the Mirratord.

ODST's soundtrack is the best out of them, I think. You should definitely buy it.
