Hmm. I glad you took my advice. Anyways ODST again. I love roaming around mombasa streets.

I'm an Anarchist. I don't need a government to be a good person, but I'm glad it's here because some of you clearly do.

Right now, I think it's too soon to include Reach, since it's still relatively new. A lot of the wrinkles have not yet been ironed out with patches and updates. On top of that, the DLC still has not yet come out.

I'm looking at this as a "best game of it's time" question, rather than best now, because Reach is obviously technically superior to it's predecessors.

I think Halo 3 was the best game for its time, as far as console gaming is concerned. It packed a hefty punch when compared to it's primary competition, which was Gears and CoD4. It had forge, theater, and you could do almost anything with custom games, including racing, playing cops and robbers (regardless of how bad that gametype tended to be), and standard things like deathmatch and CTF. Throw the file share in, and you've got a replay value which is immeasurable.

None of them are comparable to the point where one is better than the others.

I think Marathon was best for its time. It was one of the first to introduce maps specifically for multiplayer, dual wielding and an in-depth storyline for an FPS.

I gotta go with Halo 2.

"Were it so easy..." -Thel Vadame.

Haven't played Marathon, but out of the Halo games- I love all of them. Halo CE started this epic saga, Halo 2 staged an incredible campaign, Halo 3 ended the fight perfectly (IMO), ODST was a farther stroll into the Battle of Earth, and Reach... is the perfect way to cap it all off.

I voted Halo 3, as I think it is the most fun to re-play. Halo 2 follows close behind when it comes to story/campaign. Halo Reach in multilayer and game play (assassinations, armor abilities).

But all in all, I love all of Bungie's Halo games. (Halo Wars of course doesn't count, but still loved it.) I am pleased with all of them. I can't get enough of the Halo Universe.

Reach. Probably a controversial opinion, but I think it's polished almost everything about the series to a mirror-like shine. Armor Lock excluded, of course. :P

I haven't played the Marathon games.

Of the Halo series, Halo CE, no question. Everything in it works well and flows together perfectly, and there's really not much about it that I could imagine being changed for the better.
