The retail game is out, and the content I am needing to relate to has not been featured in the retail game.
There is really no problem. If there is, mods please alert me by PM rather, and they will be quickly removed.
These are a list of removed things from the Reach full game. This is another reason of why forge needs it's own disc to make space for content.
All these things were completely worth of being placed in the full game-

HEADQUARTERS
Seems interesting. This is likely part of the Campaign menu.
I would assume a completely different campaign was created, and they DID plan on integrating a perfect dark scheme, as per the "Headquarters".

Monitor beam of death ray
I'd like it. Who would not? Just replace one of the buttons with a D-PAD button, and leave open right trigger for the "IMA FIRIN' MAH LAZOR!", or just the other way around.

Armor Abilities
Interesting... If only Bungie had integrated these instead.
Shield generator- Jackal shield?
Perhaps integrate a Jackal shield thing. Pretty much doubles the shielding, but your vision is kind of "blurred", and walk slower.

Active Camo field
Why was this not integrated? I suggest perhaps removing Armor abilities from loadouts- But make equipment available in the field. But, POSSIBLY all one use only.

Vehicles/Ordnance
They should also put pilotable pelicans/phantoms thus increase vehicle power. Add in underwater/water maps+water vehicles.
Vehicle health bar = yes

Sniper: Make it take skill again, like in Halo: CE.

Should be allowed to put symbols in our tag, who cares if people can't address you easily? It was awesome!

Discontinue
In no way do I want this to be subjective, but we need to modify/drop Armor Abilities altogether. It is badly-received by lots. I'm not dancing on the grave of this, but since it would not do anything bad if we dropped them, but if we retained it, nothing changes, and CoD still beats us with modded warfail 2. What we SHOULD do, is make it equipment to pick up- Halo 3 style. Nothing was wrong with that.
Usage length for AA (as a basic guideline for things like Jetpack, Sprint etc) is 20-30 seconds of usage. This is a general layout for usage time. My favorite armor ability, armor lock must removed or broken down into EMP pulse or a bubble shield, which should be changed to the one Master Chief uses in the Halo 3 trailer, because that actually wasn't too bad.

Reticule bloom. I have no objection, but I think it is best to modify it, if we play as a spartan-III again. If we remove it, the more people who will play the next game.

Gauss cannon(Handheld) Should replace spartan laser if the game is Ghosts of Onyx, or just appears in Customs/Forge.
Energy swords: You should be able to dual energy swords if you can find two, somehow. They can both put away at once by pressing Y. I think the energy sword is unbalanced against the shotgun, no one with a sword has ever killed me when I have a shotgun, Halo 2's sword lunge wasn't bad. The distance could be nerfed just a little, I guess.
Hard sound rifle-BEAR rifle Yes, I am naming it the BEAR rifle if implemented :D
It fires a stream of sound. The "bullet" streak is going to be like a wave, just looking like this. The bullets he dodges, I know they are just flat planes, but turn the perimeter into a sound wave and that's our bullet streak. Cool, eh? Also, when it contacts anything, it will just end there, but where ever it hits, it will create a shock-wave, like thing, as if a gravity hammer was swung depending on where it hit, so also a chance to damage people, but on the other hand this is weaker against a number of other things.
Spartan Laser You've been killed many times by a laser because the guy charges it up for a moment, then pops around the corner-LAZZORR!!!!
Then he goes back for three seconds and pops right out-BLARRAGH!!!
No one likes that. So, my idea:
Lock on. Lock on takes five seconds, and is only accuracy. Let me explain.
You can fire without lock. To lock on, keep your target within the SPLR's targeting CIRCLE. After five seconds of lock on, from a blank circle reticule, a little line pops out to help guide your aim.
That's about it. This will ONLY affect individuals trying to laser single opponents. This makes no difference in destroying vehicles, as they are large enough.
Lock on is only for accuracy targeting.


Glass cannon/Energy rifle
Complete equivalent of spartan laser. Bungie, if you make the damage or anything but the looks different I swear I will kill you. Covenant weapons are less used because of the difference. If the covenant carbine was a three round burst I'd use the damn thing much more, even though it's better than the BR as proven.
Special effects: Will vaporize/glass individuals if hit squarely in the chest, or just about anything.
Same Lock-on method and firing as a Spartan Laser.
Fires a beam of purple-blue-white energy, if hit on sand/rock will turn surface glassy.
If water, vaporization time!
Can pass through multiple enemies.
A triple kill unlocks achievement-window maker!

Plasma weapons
Need to travel faster. In Live action trailers I don't remember plasma travelling as fast as someone can sprint. Let's make it a realistic speed, that's why the vast majority of us all dislike plasma weapons. The spectre, has a great weapon, for example.

+++++++++++++++++NEW CONCEPTS/PROBLEMS SOLVED+++++++++++++++++
PELICAN: I think the issue here is Bungie feels there is problem integrating the pelican or phantom. My solutions, are to produce it similar to the Hornet or transport hornet. It will be split into three types-
Assault pelican/phantom (Heavy armanent, just customs/campaign/forge appearance)
Pelican/phantom (Just two turrets, main gun and 2-4 passengers)
Transport Pelican/phantom (No armanent, but all seats inside the pelican/phantom are open, the other versions only have a turret and two seats near the exit open for boarding)
Pelicans and phantoms should be weak, if you do it right you CAN stick the pelican driver with skill, or about 2-4 rockets should do the job.

SCARAB: Only in customs and scarab assault.
Vheicles should be split into categorys for forge, to cut down on lag.
Ultra heavy(Scarab and the halo CE Extinction human equivalent) Two maximum.
Heavy(Tank, Pelican, ETC)
Medium(Warthog, spectre, etc.)
Light(Mongoose)

New effects: Plasma weaponry in high power (things like Wraith Mortar) will create glass'd surfaces.

MULTIPLAYER BETA
Release a gamma which is slightly longer, core gameplay elements.
Then, release a Beta which will be very short, to serve as a final gameplay test-out to make sure there isn't another Armor Lock in the game. I swear the truth is that most bailed out because of Armor Lock.
Multiplayer is unfair to a game itself as it decides the game's future. This I dislike as it gives games like Reach a low chance compared to Black Ops, our next multiplayer must be hard-built and kickass. A game can have forge, theater, graphics, everything, but if multiplayer fails... Huh boy.

Hey there.

I read your thread and really liked the idea of the " Firing of the Halo Ring ".

After all.. It is Halo Reach yet in Campaign, There wasn't a single Halo unless you count the one at the end when the Pillar Of Autumn is moving towards it.

Your other idea [ The Covenant Space Cruiser Invasion ] has been suggessted quite alot from what i have read on my Thread and other parts of the Forum but it is still very creative and [ In your thread ] Nicely detailed.

The Halo Ring one is the one that mostly caught my attention and i hope that it will even catch the attention of Bungie.

I think the next Halo should use player movement/vehicle mechanics close to CE.

NO LOADOUTS, keeping all AA's and allowing them as p/u on the map as w/weapons. And having Sprint and/or evade as a built-in feature of the character.

The loadouts are flaky in MM because of Host Migration and it makes the game clunky.

Keep the armory/credit thing, everyone loves that...

I think it would be cool if there was a gametype where you get either an Elephant or a Covenant Command Vehicle (I don't think that there currently is one) and have to drive it across a large map to an objective and back to the start, all while defending the destructible vehicle from the Flood. Also, for the Machinima, why not release a three-disc version that has the third disc JUST FOR MACHINIMA! Think about it, instead of having all those things in Forge and tampering with the current Reach engine, why not just make a disc that has an engine that lets you do all the things necessary for good machinima! Sitting down, lowering guns, etc. It would cost more, but I'd buy it if there was one.

It would be too much to make into a DLC, since there is so much new content instead of a few new maps/gametypes. This would have to either be an addon game disc (sold separately) or used in the next Halo game.

Medals:
This concept involves the ability for community medals. In other words, there will be Bungie.net exclusive medals you cannot see how you earn these in-game, but it keeps track. The community produces and submits medals, people are allowed to choose up to 25~50 medals to track their progress.


Forge productions and extra credits
A few people didn't understand that you only gain them while on Bunige favorites, keep that in mind.

Menu options- Menu options are more... Different.
They are in a circular list, and custom game options are "drawn out" or "pulled out" from a list rather than toggled. The menu is SIMILAR to Tomb Raider: Underworld's menu.

This would be one of the biggest debuts for Halo, directed by Dreamworks-I understand 343/Bungie has started on the next Halo, but to make this movie big, in effect will directly affect Halo's popularity, and what changes this thing's popularity is the next Halo game, correct? Good. More motivation to make the next Halo game better.
In deamworks, remember the little shmuck fishing at the start of each movie? If you get an elite in there, we have a nice assassination in there. Sword through chest much?
No fishing for the little shmuck, this place just got turned into a free fire zone.

FORGE
Ability to create gravity fields. Can adjust gravitational force just like a hill marker by a percentage. Sphere, rectangle are available.

Weapon drops-Weapon drops can be forged, and weapon crates are now interactive, allowing a player to put a weapon into the crate. Shoving a weapon into a weapon crate at an exact snap will make it pop in. The other idea is to not integrate weapon crates but this, (Dammit, why isn't it going to 24 seconds, just skip over)allowing us to forge the wall itself, not the dispenser.

Drop pod integration-Solving a potential issue- Can set impact splash mark. Say if it contacts snow, it will have a preset splash mark.
The HEV impact mark can be changed from the menu. This likley can only be integrated if we turn this forge 3.0 completely around, and like the weapon dispenser, we would either forge the drop pod and require it to drop from hitting a button inside, or we would forge the drop pod station itself.

My idea?
There is our default sandbox with default disc, but the next DLC isn't a multiplayer pack, it's a Forge World pack.
Three forge world maps, a few ideas: Covenant-Urban-UNSC-Forunner-Wilderness-
Covenant: Located in a covenant supercarrier, this promotes our space combat part. Forgeable seraphs and longswords, etc.
Urban: Lots of buildings, structures, neighborhoods, school, forgeable future school buses.
UNSC: Wutever Bungie/343 has in mind.
Forunner: Located on the ark? A snow-ish map, with ice fields integrated.(BIG DOES NOT EQUAL GOOD, TAKE HEMMORHAGE FOR EXAMPLE!) Your turn again, Bungie/343.
Wilderness: Much like forge world, but with trees. Also, there would be a timberland map also integrated. Also, this wilderness has two enviroments, waterfalls and trees, sandy beaches and perhaps an area for infinity, another good classic.

ITEM LIMITS-Makes sense, I think.
CUSTOM WALLS-This should reserve even more space on the disc, the different looks of each wall is relatively unimportant.
MAPS OUTSIDE OF FORGE WORLD- Agree
MOVE ALL- Hold A(I think?) to select a 3D box. Release to confirm selection. Select and move to move selection. About coordinates, one is to hold down the left thumbstick while moving things, or just improve the coordinate system albit.
SHOW ALL ZONES-Why not just have them on a marker on HUD as if you were playing a game itself? (Can be toggled)
EDGE SNAPS-Choose an angle you want your objects to snap on other edges at.
MOVABLE OBJECTS-Called "Free stance mode"

Interesting battle, this is one of the things that would of had made Halo: Reach truely definitive, I don't think I understand why Bungie has removed it. This is one of the "Halo before Halo" moments that would have been amazing to the game. We see those awesome battles down below, and... WHY THE HELL AM I UP HERE?

6: 48 for Watercraft prototype footage. Removed because of time shortage?
What I want to foucus on is the Global Battle, when reflecting on my pogress in Reach's campaign, I felt no invasion, I felt I kept on winning, but then in the end the game twisted everything and then I died. But, I still felt I won!
This is an issue, the global battle footage takes the player into a destroyed city, I would also assume this would be like Halo 2's EA mission they removed, longswords crashing and burning, it would have been truely epic and a definitive end to Bungie's production of Halo.


This is to be considered.
Halo 1 had the best campaign for me. Every level was so different from the rest of each other it just couldn't get boring.
Hmm... This would explain why I loved Halo 2's campaign so much.

Also, the issue in Reach was I really didn't feel the covenant invasion! I always felt like I was winning, the only part where I felt a loss was Tip of the spear but the game kept on telling me me "Shat, shat! We're loosing!".

After watching this, NOT implying we to integrate any of the enemies here, but the massive wildlife and massive landscapes are important, if you would see about halfway. Seeing the "Arctic Eel Whale" I wonder if next campaign is going to have a massive snow level like in "The control Room".
One of the best levels.


MULTIPLAYER
Black Ops... We come to this topic, as I am largley confused as why, why has it achieved Game of the Year? There is no difference in essential gameplay from Modern Warfare 2. A factor is the dislike in popuality of Halo: Reach. Also, the essential problem for Halo is also just the Xbox console sales, you can't just take Black Ops XBOX sales and compare them with Halo Xbox sales, that is not as biased, but still very shaky.
But, about the core structure of a game, is it's multiplayer content, the multiplayer content of Reach is on a popular point of view, Halo grossed a huge amount, but what, more than half the *cough* traitors *cough* people on my friend's list whom I have all met in Halo 3 or Reach beta are now playing BOps, I say this as in there has been no change from Black Ops to Modern Warfare. It is essential to focus on multiplayer structure by tenfold. ESSENTIAL, that is why I have the "Gamma" "Beta" concept from earlier.

Human Shield:
Human sheild. Although one of my favorite ideas, this is partially insanely fun and useless, but personally I like it. It is in reality not absolute, if space remains and people who have played the gamma+beta dislike of it it should be removed.
Much like in here, when assassinating a player after your knife goes into their shields, holding the button longer will get you a human shield.

You may keep your human shield that does not have shields for a maximum of fifteen~thirty seconds. After fifteen~thirty seconds they will break loose or either you will automatically kill them. Pressing meele before fifteen~thirty seconds will have you kill your victim with the butt of your gun.
Your victim will not have shields, thus holding meele after knife+stab, if an opponent kills your victim with a headshot it will NOT count as a betrayal, in fact the ONLY person who would receive anything at all is the person who is holding the enemy player hostage.

You will move the speed of the living dead.

Vheicle destruction process
This is definitely my top five ideas, I love this one.
When a vehicle is shot down, depending on vehicle, passengers will have the option of "bail" as I now call it, simply pressing "use" will have you climb out in a first person animation scheme, this is not required. But the point of "bail" is to not die from the exploding vheicle, this will solve problems with things like a transport falcon. Only passengers may achieve this, gunners and pilots have none of the option.

Things like a scorpion will not exactly have bail, but if a four passenger system is integrated, (Still in first person awesomeness mode) the player will simply cover themselves with perhaps a part of a tank, and be blinded for a moment before getting off the scorpion. This allows the integration of like things like transport falcons.
These ideas are only in integration for vehicles that would achieve perhaps an overkill or more.

Now for my favorite part. The transport falcon, would award an insanely large multikill for one vehicle, my concept is there are two passengers that may shoot out of the falcon, no turrets or anything. We will call them gunners. The side seats they will take are called "Gunner seats". The falcon might have a slightly larger bay, and allow for walking into the bay WHICH SHOULD BE ALLOWED IN THE FIRST PLACE-that allow people to get into specific seats, for example the middle one.

When shot down, the falcon will not simply explode and drop out of the sky immediately (I am only using a falcon as an example), the driver will be killed as well as the gunners, but the passengers, having nothing to focus on use the advantage to shield themselves from explosion. The falcon will kind of spin out of control to a certain degree, and just crash land.
Passengers getting out at any time before or after the crash the first person animation will be SIMILAR to this, SIMILAR, meaning to give a general concept. The first person animation would be like this. the passenger would hold on to something in a hugely dramatic crash ^_^.
Getting out? You would just still in first person, and bail out.
This is a crucial concept!
Take note of this!!



I would promote a first person driving scheme for most vehicles now, the ghost is a definite, as it has no passengers or anything you would need to care about.
It would look like this.
But, to counteract the chances of boarding and small field of visibility, things like motion trackers will be increased and better, as well as the overall power of vehicles as of Halo 3.
This first person system will only be integrated with largely overpowered vehicles as of Halo 3's records, although players may look around with the right thumbstick.
Leaving the right thumbstick idle will cause it to auto-center with the direction the player is driving at.
For example, tank beats wraith!
So leave wraith third person and tank for first person.
SAGE, DON'T NERF EVERYTHING!!!

When being the victim of an assassination, no third person scheme! You're not dead yet, and there is also the likley chance your opponent decides to use you as a meatshield, everything here until your actual death will be in first person, this also creates extra coolness.

Armory 2.0
A new option of the armory is assassination unlockables, these assassinations are rather the coolest of any, and when purchased, they can be toggled on and off.

FIREFIGHT
Halo: Reach's firefight was different from ODST's, I would prefer-actually, all of us- prefer firefight being more rewarding if you get to the power weapons.
In ODST crater, the first to get to the turret was inb4WIN.
The one skillful enough to get to the sniper or rockets was inb4WIN, and the maps were smaller, and again, more rewarding. That is quite an important element, in ODST firefight was played because it was extremely rewarding turret'ing grunts off the stairs on Crater or getting the rockets on data hive and grabbing huge killing sprees and a bunch of killionares. Take my word for that, we played firefight because it was rewarding to play. The idea of firefight is to create an area to defend, and to be again, rewarding. DO NOT OVERDO IT! RECREATE ODST'S FIREFIGHT, THAT'S ALL.

Invasion
-Should give invasion more objective to it, stealing the core is just another objective, invasion should be of higher priority.
Two new Invasion 2.0 ideas.

SPARTAN INV-
Objective to destroy a covenant supercarrier.
Players are dropped off on a pelican for initial spawning, but at a distance or position where no way could an enemy player could manage to see, attack, or get there in time to kill the Spartan players shortly after exiting the pelican.
When in the pelican, Johnson will be explaining things (These are at selected at random, and if disc space is pushed again the variation in his speech is probably the first thing to consider removing). "That my friends, is a Covenant Supercarrier. A crew of thirten million, and over ONE MILLION seraphs!" Proceeds to discuss the objective.

Stages (These are variable, ideas here are just thrown out there to get started with)
-SMAC Shielding. The elites have put up a shield, around the SMAC's controls as well as the SMAC itself. Spartan players will need to power down the shielding via covenant external control panels.
-Control Room. Elites have lockdown on a control room, must re-activate power.
-Process/Decode coordinates and unscramble.
Spartan players will need to unscramble the covenant lockdown code on the SMAC controls and process the coordinates.
End: The SMAC destroys the supercarrier.
If you lose, the supercarrier begins to glass everything, or we get a mapful of kamakazie banshees.

ELITE INV- Objective to fire halo/ retrieve the index. Elite players are dropped off in phantoms, the elite arbiters in the phantoms will discuss the objective. You can see the phantoms going out of the map to drop off grunts and attack other places if you get bored and watch.
-Destroy spartan defenses, human turrets disable access to places, players must avoid the turret's range itself(Indoors and obvious) but destroy the controls.
-An oracle will descend from a waiting phantom once enough teammates have spawned near the location it will begin decoding the door. If it receives too much damage it will teleport away, players must clear a marked zone of enemies for the oracle to resume hacking. In the end, cue the Marty and Salvatori's music, the elites need to go grab the index and bring it to the phantom. Stand under the phantom to be gravity lifted upwards, the player will be invulnerable when being lifted and will get stronger as they get near the lift, this is to keep people from flinging their controllers at their black and white TV, but damage rate will decrease to keep the fairness. Like an inverse VIP.
END: Either the firing of Halo occurs or the phantom is destroyed by a fury of longswords.

i like this idea i have pondered stuff about the next halo also, my idea was to put all halos together into one super halo and as for reach put it through what Master Chief did instead because im sure people dont want to do it again. improve some of the story missions. another feature that i always thought would be nice is playing as anything, like playing as a grunt, or brute, or jackal, or marine as well as the accustomed elites and spartans. also to bring back the dropped weapons(vehicles too) and actually bring in the machete! and as for armor abilities, they're fun and dandy but, just sprint would do. the floodfight sounds fun.they should also put pilotable pelicans. as for forge, im a huge forger i have no more forge space on halo 3... lol yeah. the whol other disc would be amazing!!!!! and i want some architectually different stuff. i dont want everything to be cube'ish. and some animating options like make objects move. or go garrys mod and put a piece called "seat" and it makes whatever its attatched to drivable and whether its an ir craft or land vehicle and maybe even sea! so some one could make a huge retarted spaceship or tank thing. also odst drop pods because they are a pain to make. also a more dramatic color change more than just lights on a wall. another thing ive noticed, for some reason lights dont work on split screen that should be fixed. more lights should be enabled also. and for fx there should be a night time one. i like forge world but there should be multiple forge world for different climates, tundra, jungle, desert and urban! armor customizations i think that if its possible go further into it, like for helmets make it so someone can pick the visor type and color the shape of the helmet and put details on it and shoulders and body you just pick pieces and slap em on. and back to forge, placable water! or you can change the water level so you could make a flooded map! and put weather effects, snow rain sandstorm ect.and more on nature. i want to spawn trees! and im sure its obvious to everyone MACHINIMAS! make it so you can go hand to hand. maybe you hold "Y" and you go hand to hand.(punching people would also just be plain fun) and make it so you can sit. and make things do the opposite of late spawn, make them disapear after a while! one final suggestion, bots! i have heard so many people say they want bots. it would definately make split screen play a whole lot better! and would eliminate stacking. bots could fill in for players who leave or arent there.

I'm sure you can create some sort of mini-scale model..with painstaking detail and time taken in Forge. But it won't be playable, you'd just have to make another arger scale map.

G-Mod Forge would be awesome! I want to place a Spartan, with a tiger, and have the spartan riding the tiger like Terry Crews in the Old Spice commercials and do a voice over of the commercial!
