this armor is fused to the spartens nerves system, so how hard is it to take the armor on and off, also the duel weilding added in Mk IV that you could do with mk V was because of the targeting software am i right

Minimal Casualties, Maximum Effectiveness.

That is correct and that is correct. Thats why you dont see any spartans outside armor. IE The chief barely takes off his helmet hell never take off that armor except when he was upgraded to have dual wielding.

The armour is put on and taken off by a team of technicians usually that takes 20 minutes but I don't think it is actually fused to the Spartan's nervous system, just enhances it.

Message me if you want, I will try to get back as soon as possible.

See you on the forums and in the games.

The way I would put it is, it's like the Matrix, you are connected to it but at the same time with a technicians help you can get out easily and safely. Also I would say fusing to nerves is an overstatement, I don't believe there is a Matrix-like jack the suit connects to. Maybe the Matrix is a bad example.

From what I have observed, this is correct.

It was stated that, although under ideal conditions a team of technicians would be necessary to replace armor pieces in the Mjolnir armor system, the Spartans had become adept at "field repairs," replacing some of the systems components without the need of aid from technicians or proper facilities.

Edit: These fixes would be minor, and wouldn't reach the capacity of being able to replace entire sections of the armor.

From What I understand; The neural interface in the helmet is magnetic and allows for easy removal. But we hardly ever see SPARTANs outside of combat or without MJOLNIR. But I know that I would not want to be stuck in there forever. Plus it'd probably start to get pretty ripe in there on an extended deployment.

Yeah, yeah the biostatic gel layer lol. But just because the suit matches your body temp doesn't mean you won't stop sweating and or secreting bodily fluids.

  • 11.22.2010 12:44 PM PDT

but your skin\hair would still be secreting oils that would get kinda crusty eventually, right? Just thinking out loud here....

That's an interesting point Nukem. How do SPARTANS crap, and/or piss? How do they keep their bodies clean?

im thinking along the lines of ironman 2, i do agree that it would kinda suck being stuck in that armor for so long without a shower, there is no way you couldnt break a sweat kicking that much ass all day
