Halo 3 was such an amazing game, a community full of people; the young, the old, the intelligent psychological players who follow patterns and obtain skills from videos and the mistakes of themselves or others, the not normal guns-a-blazin types, the snipers, and not to mention the MLG worthy... which personally i see very few of.
halo 3 was so rich in community, and when halo reach came into the picture, i believe that community was cut in half. the sense of togetherness with your team mates was really destroyed. was this bungies fault? NO, it is not. it might be timing, it might be the people, it might be a lot things, most of which are subject to variable change, which make it more difficult to explain.
I find halo reach to be a bad game, i simply dont enjoy it, and i feel like im getting killed by the same A-holes that were spawn killing and tea-bagging me in halo 3. sure there are good games, but so was there in halo 3. it doesnt feel new, or fresh, like a new game should. it felt like halo 3 but everyone is rockin these new armor powers.
all things get old at some point, and ( to me at least) halo is one of them, if halo 3 were still full of players, if reach hadent come out, halo 3 would be what im playing right now, but instead im playing black ops, and fable 3.
I spent around 170$ getting my legendary edition, and after maybe 10 hours or less of gameplay, an uncompleted campaign which bored me so much that i wanted to cry, and a couple ranks into multiplayer mode, i traded it in for 27 dollars.
Halo reach didnt invoke any new feelings for me, i felt as if i had just popped in halo odst, it was halo, and it was new, but it wasnt fresh.
This is just some halo opinions and statements that are true to me, that i wanted to share with the largest halo community, if anyone feels like i do, wright me
back :D
sorry if i offend anyone, because i WAS truly a diehard halo fan, and i too, once had a ignorance level of 100% when someone told me they dont like halo.
