Alright here again to put my voice in as a competitive gamer. I like the way Anchor 9 looks Bungie, and thumbs up on it being symmetrical.
The only problem I have is it still is not the map that the competitive community is looking for. First off Zero G I get how it applies, but look at the MLG version of Zealot the first thing they did was block off the zero G cause it doesn't fit with tournament play. The other thing is when did Zero G become such a hit thing considering you could edit the gametype in Halo 3, and get the same effect.
The other issue I have with the map is the big open spaces multiple floor feel that a lot of your reach maps have. Look at the pit in Halo 3 it has open space, but cover is well placed the space is just right. In anchor 9 it looks like you took a big space, and built a map around it and called it done.
Nice looking map Bungie I am sure your community will enjoy it, and I will enjoy it when the guys are over and we have had a few beers, but it still does not solve the lack of competitive tournament maps that reach failed to produce. It looks like we will still be waiting for MLG's community forgers to fill the void.
