Mike Lowery: [singing] Bad boys, bad boys what ya gonna do? What ya gonna do when we come for you?
[Marcus starts ad-libbing the first verse]
Mike Lowery: Dude, you gotta learn the words.
Marcus Burnett: We usually only do the chorus

Essentially one which is more akin to the brilliant novels by Eric Nylund.
So what do think?

Is Eric Nylund the author who has unbelievable amounts of Covenant stuff get blown up at every corner? Even the Covenant doesn't have that much stuff.

I don't care. I really don't.

I want a dark, gloomy Halo, but the architexture and designs more akin to the older Halo (CE, H2 even H3 a little) games with it smooth, epicly scaled and aerodynamic, so it's the best of both.

The Razor.

For the honour of the Mirratord.

Yes, but not necessarily akin to the Nylund novels. More like the tone of the TV series' Battlestar Galactica and Stargate Universe, or the film District 9.

Agree 100%

I want to see the next saga set on Algolis - home of several secret projects, the doomed destroyer - Heart of Midlothian and plenty of storyline to get our teeth into

"Were it so easy..." -Thel Vadame.

I like Halo the way it is. I don't think more gore is necessary. I am so glad it's not overboard like Gears of War or something.

I want covenant to explode, blood everywhere, -blam!- blown up around every corner

I don't want to start an argument but personally, I find Eric Nylund's Halo books a bit... too much at once happening too quickly. I say that because, particularly with gunfights, while it describes things ok, the killing happens in what feels like 3 lines, it would usually involve a sidestep or punch in the gut, a gun barrel being shoved into someone's gut and a squeeze of the trigger, followed by the reloading. Now I know that it would generally happen like that, but it just happens a bit too fast for me.

Don't get me wrong, I love the books and the plot is amazing, it's just a bit fast for what happens.

As if this really matters.

You guys are all gore trolls. But I agree.
