"If our own governments are resposible for the deaths of a hundred thousand people, do you really wanna know?"

So according to HaloPedia and the books, some Spartans still LIVE on the planet Called Onyx but why doesn't the UNSC save them???

It's realy bugging me since those Spartans might want a good meal after those years....

Message me if you want, I will try to get back as soon as possible.

See you on the forums and in the games.

They live inside a Dyson sphere that they reached from the shield world Onyx, although theoretically that shield world could be anywhere. There is no way at the moment for them to be rescued.

Ah ok... to bad the Spartans didn't wear a tracking device ^.^

Yeah... there's about a TRILLION sentinels gauding the place. 50 could easily slaughter a covenant cruiser. If they had every piece of military equipment ever made they would still lose.

A tracking device wouldn't really help, they are in a Dyson sphere, this is from my limited knowledge of theoretical physics within the Halo universe, which are basically areas within a Slipspace that are completely ostracized from what we would consider space and time. Basically, they are all stuck.

A dyson sphere isn't technically a slipspace formation. Nylund just chose to apply this description to that construct.

A dyson Sphere is basically an inside out planet.
the system's star is at the "center" of the planet while a shell effectively encompasses the original area of that solar system. this is to capture every once of sunlight that system produces.

the construct at the core of Onyx is a micro dyson sphere.

What you mentioned is more like the sphere in Halo Wars the one on Onyx is much different, it's not inside the planet.
