Apologies on the rather lengthy hiatus, but here we are with the Week (or month?) in Review.

In case you've been living under a digital rock for the last few weeks, you'll have noticed that Bungie.net main news and all Chapter homepages now have an RSS feed (click the XML button). What does this mean? You can access the news and display it as you want, using an RSS reading application. It's also entirely possible to set up an external website for your Group and display the news from the Group homepage there - if you have the skillz. If you're into web design, it's certainly worth looking into. Thanks to Sameck for allowing us to observe that only public news stories will be displayed by RSS.

Also new to Chapters is a Group History Viewer, accessible from Admin Tools if you have the Group Settings privilege. This allows you to see all the most recent administrative actions in the Chapter. It's essentially a re-incarnation of ye olde activity log, although it's more admin-focused.

As you doubtlessly all know, Halo 2's USA anniversary came about on Thursday. There was plenty of drinking and playing, and having fun with a game which has provided so much entertainment, and one which will continue to do so - at least until the next Bungie game.

But, unfortunately for some and joyfully for the others, the Halo 2 XBL leaderboards were removed from Bungie.net. A sizable portion of the online community thought cheating was a good idea and a good way to ascend the ranks - in so doing, they managed to spoil it for those who used the leaderboards honestly.

In community events, the Myth Tournament took place on the 5th. Although it was hardly a massive success, it was still a good experience with some surprising performances. The finals are taking place soon, so be sure to stay tuned to find out the "best" Bungie.net Myther is, and how everyone managed.

Maimum FEAR tells us of a more permanent event: "I have just started a League for Halo 2. In this League teams of 4 players play each other for points. At the end of the season the team with the most points wins the League. Gametypes for each game are randomly generated and so are the maps.
Each team must elect a captain, who will represent there team in discussions and meetings etc." Be sure to check out his Halo 2 League Group if you're interested.

Something that might interest any wannabe Machinima producers out there is Kritz's Flood Machinima project. If you've got skills to contribute, go ahead and volunteer to help out.

We all love avatars, and echo360 has posted an Avatar Submission Thread. If you've some avatars you want the community's input on, if you want to see what others have come up with and comment on their creations, check it out.

It's been a while since the last Awesome Chapter was added, but now that wait is over with Nosferatu_Soldie and Yoozel's Teh 1337ists. It's one of the most content-heavy Chapters around, with a load of activity and a fun memberbase. And no, it's not mainly for 1337 sp33k3rs, though members are not discouraged from behaving thus should the occasion call for it. So be sure to check it out, and give a big hand to all those who helped it to such grandeur! You can view the original article and the Nosferatu interview here.

Chapter of the Week goes to former Bnet regular snowmanaxt (recently retired) and current Septagon regular Gods Prophet for The Guide. It's essentially an information archive with data on all of Bungie.net, interviews, dedicated members and more. If there's something CF can't provide you with, be sure to check this place out.

That's just about all for now, those expecting the Achronos interview will have to wait a little longer. And no, sending me more death threats isn't going to make anything happen =). Remember, if you've any news you want included in the next Week in Review, drop us a line @ cfounders@gmail.com.

This article brought to you by Chapter Founders, the original hawt spot for help with Chapters and all things concerning them. Come visit us for the most in-depth help you can find anywhere on the 7th Column.

Speaking of RSS, I should add that it will only display public stories.

I've been hinting for there to be one for freakin ever it seems like. Bout time.

Nice review Psyched. Although it did kinda piss me off. You had said the next one would contain the interview, so my eyes lit up when I saw it posted. Only to be disappointed. But it's cool. Good things come to those who wait. Or so they tell me.

That's exactly what I was trying to avoid - I didn't want to create too much upset by not posting the interview (because I'd said I would), but on the other hand, lots of people have contacted me wanting another. Again, apologies, but there's nothing I can do about the situation.

Well, yeah. I understand. It's a lot of pressure to prevent a riot. lol.

I think the review should be viewable via RSS. That would be pretty hard to do though. Unless you subscribed to it in CF and they posted an announcement there that says when it is added.
