I assume you've downloaded the dedicated server program?

1. Open ports 2302 through 2305 on your router. I can't tell you how to access it since each make and model is different. If you don't have one, then skip this.

2. In Halo, change the network settings [settings menu] to use 2304 and 2305 for client/server traffic.

3. If you're not too good at make an init.txt file from scratch, download the Init Builder Extended program. Read the description - you'll need to manually adjust the auto-detect maps/gametypes paths for Halo PC. Otherwise, search for a tutorial on making an init file [it gives the server instructions for which maps to run and which gametypes to use].

4. Run the server. You cna join it if you want, as well [it'll be listed in gamespy]. If you want to know how to kick/ban, I believe there's a sticky in "The Guides" about it.

Init Builder Extended program.

Okay I can't figure out how to get that to work.

Is it possibly to use a custom gametype.
