No, if you did this victimless crime, you can be detected by not only Microsoft but the FBI. This tampering with in-game features is actually a breach of Intellectual Property law and thus can and will be treated very harshly. Punishments vary from $10,000 fine to a possible 3 years in jail depending on how much modding is done. More than one game modified can lead to compound sentences, so 10 games may mean 30 years.

It is roughly a 60% chance you'll be caught, so the choice is yours.
