Subject: Unable to run Halo 3 Multiplayer Map Pack disc?

Um, hello fellow forumers, not sure if this has been answered before (a quick search says no), but I could use some help with a little problem of mine.

Recently I have been trying to play the multiplayer disc included in my copy of ODST on my 360, but to no avail. (Game doesn't run, disc spins but stops after some time, and I'm still at my dashboard.)
I did manage to run it a few weeks ago, playing some games splitscreen with friends and running to check if it works a month ago.

So far it is apparent that turning off the 360 and trying it another day doesn't help, and neither is deleting the Halo 3 data stored in 360's hard drive.

At least I my copy of Halo 3 and ODST works, though I miss running about in some of the DLC maps...

Your help is much appreciated, thanks!

I had the same problem. Mine's broke when my little brother knocked my Xbox over While I was playing it. It was fixed when I got a new storage device, so try to get a new storage device.

hmm, pretty sure I didn't do anything untoward to the 360... though it doesn't explain how the other games are fine even though they are all in the hard drive.

By another storage drive, do you mean like, having my Halo 3 saves on a thumbdrive/ alternate hard drive/ another 360 hard drive?

Yes. I got a Memory Unit and then I could play again just fine.

Alright then, maybe I'll give it a shot. Either that or I'm going to have to try using my friend's copy, though something tells me that might not work...

Meh, tranferring my Halo 3 data and xbox live profile to a thumbdrive didn't quite work. What did you do back then?

Is it scratched at all?
If so, thats why it isn't working, and you can take it to Best Buy and just ask for a new one(I've done this like 3 times without a receipt).

If isn't scratched I am not sure what the problem is.

The next time you are able to get the disc to work (in any way), try installing the disc to your hard drive. Bungie doesn't recommend it, but at this population it won't hurt too much.

First thing I've thought of is whether it is scratched, though the underside looks pretty smooth enough...

And I've considered trying to install, though the longer load times is a slight put off >.>

Lets hope the suggestions from you guys work next time I try it out... :)
