Okay, before you start reading, you should know that I'm not that great at typing long messages, I tend to cram it into as smaller place as possible.
'Hackers', and modders, well, Bungie won't stand for them on Halo 2 Xbox, but they can roam free ruining players' of the PC version of Halo'(1)s fun. It's happened to me quite a few times now. I've been happily playing, a new game starts, and hey presto, there's the hacker flying in the air, and everyone else's PC locks up. Of course I go through the usual arduous tasks of trying to exit the game, ctrl, alt delete, tapping the windows key, attempting to shut down, but in the end of course I just have to turn it off at the power source. So I leave the PC for a bit to cool down, and try again. PC boots, and I log on, nothing works correctly. I switch off and try again, 'Active Desktop is disabled etc etc.' After reactivatiing my desktop, My computer is finally working again.
Why should I have to put up with that? This is still happening after the security patches, obviously a new patch is needed to stop the 'hackers'. I can no longer play Halo without fearing for the health of my computer. What do Bungie do? Nothing.
Is that right? I don't think so.
