These headshots are almost as delicious as strawberry muffins...
First off, I may be a Reach fan, and I MAY have not played Halo 3 since the summer (actually went on once), and MAYBE you'd resent people like me in this forum, but I'm part of that little 10 percent of Reach gamers who understands that Halo 3 is still a fun game, and you can keep playing it.
Of course, Reach is a seperate game, using theme combinations from all the Halos (according to Bungie) but I don't like the new Halo 3 VS Halo Reach flamewars going on.
(Besides, we're already having a hard time with those trigger happy CoD players polluting the site)
I'm not going to yell adapt, because if you don't like the game, its ok not to play it. Just because Bungie made Reach doesnt mean they ned to convert ALL gamers to their new game. The Reach game caters to those who favored it in the Beta, and you still have to admit that Bungie is one of the only developers that's willing to hold it's neck out for the populace's feedback. So Reach was made, and its the product of those ideas WE spewed out. Or at least most Bungie.net members. If you didn't side with a popular opinion on the site and do your part to vote, you don't have much of a right to complain. Not gonna hate on anyone for that, because Halo 3 is still fun.
The one place I sadly agree with you 100% as a Reach fan is the maps really do suck prettyyyyyyyyyy bad.
The new map pack looks very satisfying for a few months at least, but I was dissapointed that all the MP maps were just closed off renditions of Campaign segments. I mean, that was a bit lazy.
But I also have sympathy for the Halo 3 players (Why do I seperate myself like this? I still love that game...) because I feel that Bungie dropped Halo 3 like a rock when it was done, as with ODST. Lots of DLC, but they started to get really lazy with Bungie Favorites and uninspiring DLC packs. Halo 3 stood strong through that, and broke through CoD4MW and MW2.
No hate on you folks, i just don't like civil war.
I was impressed with Halo 3's astonishing 2.5 million players online the following monday after Reach came out. Made me feel a little sad that the game didn't please all of you, but confident that people still believe in old gems.
