Ice Fields, because it requires balance in all skills, and if playing CTF, a massive amount of teamwork. The bases are closed in for close combat, narrow valleys for pistol fights, wide open areas for sniping, ice on paths for driving, multiple routes in and out of bases for sneaking, multi-tier bases for defense... Yeah, that map has everything that makes Halo.

Well, I agree. I like game that require lots of teamwork(CTF). I like big maps because thier great for CTF, can support vehicals, and feed my "Sniping Addiction" : ) So, I would say blood gulch.

Timberland or Death Island, Timberland for its awesome sniping, and death Island for it's "king of the hill" aspects, there is always a fight for the top of the island :D !

Actually, I prefer smaller levels like Battle Creek and Chill Out. No idea why, mabye I just prefer the rush of Close Combat as opposed to never seeing my opponents before I get TSK'd or sniped.

dude the big levels rock hardcore, cuz then you can snipe and shee people to death! then you can kill their dead bodies ; )

Okay....dude that made absolutely no sense. You can't kill someone's dead body--it just doesn't work that way.

I have to agree though, I like big levels but also with parts where close combat switches it up (i.e. Blood Gulch, sniping until someone comes to the base, at which point it turns to shotties and nades). I pretty much like every level in the game though, except that Chiron level which I suck at for some reason.

Haha! Blood Gulch!

Yep, I'm an old geezer, so I stick to the most classic and basic level. It's a great level for the pistol/sniper combo, though. I can sit on the hills just outside of the base and keep the team pinned down. I guess it's not such a boring map if you only play the game once in a while.
