I don't care. I really don't.

In real life and many other science fictions, humans adapt to their environment, causing many different forms.
For example, someone born second generation Martian colonist would be much taller and much weaker due to the gravity. It would also make sense for someone born on Reach, which has a higher gravity, and I'm guessing the planet is at least sixth generation colonized, would be shorter, bulkier and stronger than normal humans.

So, I'm asking if this kind of perfectly normal human mutation has ever appeared in the Halo series? Or was this completely ignored?

It's never mentioned.

That doesn't make sense at all, especially with Reach with it's high grav. Hmmm.

I'm sure there are many factors that would influence colonists of other celestial bodies after several generations. These are not important to the story, and would quite frankly be too difficult to figure out for anyone not completely interested in maintaining scientific accuracy, which the creators of the Halo universe obviously are not.

It's no wonder things like this were never mentioned.

"Were it so easy..." -Thel Vadame.

It's never brought up. I am kind of glad it isn't, I don't think its that important. It's not like it ruins the story lol.
