Subject: Why the fighting?

Throughout all of the Halo Games there has been an ongoing battle.
No I'm not talking about the Human-Covenant War.
I'm talking about the Red and Blue war. The war that really has no reason, and personally it's always made me wonder. Why are Red and Blue Fighting?

I escaped into the waves. The waves...
I went Underground!

If I remember correctly, the instruction manual for the Halo 2 Multiplayer Map Pack disk gave some cool backstory on multiplayer. I would look there.

Because it's entertaining to hear Caboose yell about burnt toast.

"Your toast has been burnt! And no amount of scraping will remove the black parts!"

Because the government likes making two groups fight against eachother to see what would happen?

I dunno thats what the people in RVB said. Basically its an experiment.

Message me if you want, I will try to get back as soon as possible.

See you on the forums and in the games.

So as to train the Spartans for combat. And to teach them to interact with the various items they use that somehow talk (bomb, tanks, etc.)

Don't worry, you're still your mom's favorite Bnet member.

As far as Red vs Blue is concerned, the Reds and the Blues are tricked into thinking that there is a UNSC Civil War, Red and Blue, and the UNSC really uses them to test their technology.

But I think it's actually combat simulations for Spartan training.

I think that's what's so great about it, they're all supersoldiers, right? Spartans, bred for combat. So why not just fight against eachother? It's what they're for.

I'm an Anarchist. I don't need a government to be a good person, but I'm glad it's here because some of you clearly do.

Actually, the purpose of the Spartan II program was to fight against innies and the Spartan III program was to produce suicide commandos.

Put six idiots in a small area with any form of team identification and see what happens.
