So, Bungie, we are aware that you had a plethora of different companies to choose from, but why activision?
Why so unfaithful?
You are signing on to a publishing deal when we thought you learned your lesson with microsoft game studios, but now you are signing with the ex-publisher of your nemesis, infinityward?
I advise everyone do some research as to why Infinitywards head producers all dispersed or quit, its simply because activision had problems or just plainly refused to pay the Heads for the call of duty franchise, the most successful game ever (halo fan boy here, the only reason it beat out halo was because it was released on all consoles).
What ever happened to being independent?

Dark Neptune, a young amateur astronomer whose gaming life is no different from other teenagers of his age, though he controls it more strictly then others.

Back in 1999 or so, Bungie was offered by Activision before. It made sense they reconsidered it again.

As far as I now Bungie are still independent, it's different from the Microsoft take over.

As if this really matters.

I more worried about Bungie's games being released on the PS3.

Old GTs; RebelRobot, Flamedude

Bungie are partners with activision, they are not owned by activision. Bungie has control and ownership over their projects and intellectual properties.

Bungie is a professional golfer? How?

"Time... Line??? Time is not made out of lines! It is made out of circles... That is why clocks are round!" - Micheal J. Caboose

It's not going to be the same kind of partnership.

If I remember reading correctly back when this was news, Bungie spent something like 6 months negotiating their terms with whatever publishers they were considering.

They worked out a deal that would definitely prevent them from being the next infinity ward. They're not going to let their new franchise be milked and have releases every single year. They retain most of their control, Activision is just funding the operation.

Also, as a side note, Bungie's new IP being released on all consoles is a GOOD thing. It just means more exposure and more sales (i.e. Why Modern Warfare 2 beat bungie in the first place)

My two cents.
