Subject: I've noticed...

Five Tenets of Bungie.net Forum Life:
1. Trolls will always be well fed.
2. Blame-ability thy name is stosh.
3. Bungie has no control over retail prices.
4. Watch out for low-flying defense drones.
5. Seven is not optional, but rather, an inevitability.

Just like gaming, Halloween is getting the -blam!- kicked out of it by stupid parents, and probably a few bastards at D.C. Has anyone noticed that most t.v. stations don't show their Halloween episodes until the last week of October? It makes me mad since Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, and I especially enjoy the Halloween cartoons. I'm glad Cartoon Network isn't following this bull crap. I think they still plan to show all the Halloween episodes they got, just as soon, or a little while after October begins. Discuss.

Today's society is hiding children from important things and doesn't see the root of the problem. They decide, instead of taking the problem at the source, they will blame holidays, movies, and games for the bad things. If children don't get exposed to these things, they will grow up to be the pansy-asses they are destined to be. And as for the video games thing, blame the parents.

some parents think halloween is bad because its "woshoping satan" when its nothing like this. its the decendant of a bad holiday, but now its a night where kids can enjoy themselves, socialize, get candy, and dress up. wtf is wrong about that?

It's one thing when little kids do that crap, it's something else when teens and older people do that. i mean come on, your way too old for that BS. I'm 14 and I gave it up a few years ago. I mean candy is great and all but you can get a big thing of them for less then your dumb@ss costume.

Does anyone else enjoy the cartoons? And try to keep the origin of Halloween to a minimum please. I wouldn't want this thread to get locked.

I'm too old for trick or treating now. It's just as fun to hand out candy to the trick or treaters at home. I like to hide in the closet next to the door, then when they ring the doorbell I jump out and make em wet their pants. Then I give them candy so their parents won't sue us.
Halloween is fun, I see no reason for it to be banned.
