Heh. SLD is busy with school (I know this based upon a direct line of communication with him). He won't be around this forum especially much.

If you're going to ask for help, we're going to need more descriptions. Any error messages? Any AV/Firewalls you've got up? Any recent installs or additions to your computer?

If nothing is coming up on the Get List, then I suggest checking that you've got halo version 1.7. That, and checking to see if your internet connection on your end has timed out. If nothing like that seems amiss, then perhaps the Gamespy servers were down for a bit.

I'm having the same problem. Halo CE says I need a manual update. I did some research, got the new AutoUpdate.exe and the patch, instaalled both, and still get the same message. I also went to the address listed in the error message and downloaded from there, too. The message is in the scrolling yellow text below the now empty server list.

When I run the AutoUpdate.exe outside CE, it tells me it is up to date, when I know it isn't. Could someone help me out here?

It isn't Norton or a firewall. I no longer have either.
