You're preaching to the choir with me, Escream. I think ODST tried to recapture some of Halo's hero moments, but, the saga itself is going in the direction of overall gaming. Team based, multiplayery everything. Look at Arbiter - he went from the coolest, most disenfranchised being in the universe to being MC's sidekick in 3. Is all about the times and what is popular. I wasn't surprised by Reach's format. It's just the expression of demand and success. From sinking Banshees to the half an hour timespan between grabbing a turret and being able to actually use it, it's all about Live and its exertion of power.

I don't have any problem with a team, I just think they just missed some opportunites with the Reach story line. The only one you really care about is Jorge, and he's the first to die. There should have been more opportunity to begin to like your team members, and they should have been given better deaths.

Can't stop me or break me down.

Halo came before GoW dumby.

All the deaths of team noble was epic, the only one that I think is the worst is kat´s death the other 4 was heroic specially noble 6

I thought that noble team was fail, and that reach copied GoW,and CoD. GOW AND COD are team based campaigns, where halo was just MC. Now we have a team???? i dont like it

As they say, "lrn2read". (just kidding)

All the Halo novels were team based (first strike not so much). Halo: Reach was the first time the story influenced the game, as opposed to Halo: CE and the novel The Flood.

COD and GOW do not have anything like the Halo novels. Just turn off the console once and a while and you will see. I have read all of them including some of the comic books.

And if Halo: Reach was your first exposure to Spartans other than MC, you're in for a surprise.

Gotta go with 1 guy. Being a lone hero is so much cooler than being a "team player" in campaign, atleast when it comes to videogames.
