I only got xbox live in like, 2008, so the majority of my halo gaming was offline until then. I still like to play the halo 3 campaign on heroic, and try to keep the marines alive, same with halo 2. Anybody else do this?

I still play Halo 1. Right now I play it more than any Halo other than Reach, and that's mostly because Reach is so new.

As the series progresses, I care less and less about keeping marines alive, though.

Always. Who doesn't like the keep the marines alive?

Getting to the end of Gravemind in Halo 2 with some alive on Heroic was always a fun challenge.

That level was epic.

It totally was, I loved the abundance of plasma rifles. The plasma bolts and the aliens bright fluorescent blood made for a cool effect.

I did this a lot on Metropolis and Delta Halo on Legendary, because those two levels were such awesome fun and there was also always an overabundance of marines, rocket launchers, and snipers :D
It was a bit tedious because my Marines kept killing themselves but it was definitely well worth it!
