ODST is my favorite halo game. Like other have said though, people expected too much from the game.

Big props to bungie, for trying something new.

I'm the cult of personality,
I call it like i see it, if i feel the need to be blunt and to the point, then i will, if i feel the need to be very detailed, i will, im here to stay and im here to do things my way, if you respect that or not is your choice, not mine,
and don't worry, while i don't agree with everyone's opinion, i do respect everyone's opinion.

Because even though it was good, it was still a rip off.
Thats a matter of opinion

Not really. If you owned Halo 3 prior to purchasing ODST you were ripped off. Period.
I owned Halo 3 and got ODST and enjoyed it and i still play it and enjoy it

sorry your opinion is not fact

you dont like ODST and you felt ripped off for understandable reasens
that is your opinion

let me give you a explanation of the difference between fact and opinion

ODST is awesome = Opinion
In Halo 3 ODST you play as a ODST = Fact

there is a perfect demonstration

good day

hey, the name's HNIC Matt and uh that's pretty much it, go to my channel on youtube(thetexas2010) for more.

the fact that you run around the city finding clues, going into flashback missions, and having -blam!- health systems,so yeah ODST SUCKS;firefight however is freakin' awesome :)

rule of thumb: double tap

ODST was beast mode, it had the best campaign ever

ODST is such an underrated game. The campaign was the best and we got firefight mode. If ODST would have it's own unique multiplayer and firefight matchmaking similar to Reach it would have been absolutely brilliant.

I have the ODST nameplate, haha. ODST introduced firefight, which kicks ass. ODST also starred Nathan Fillion as Buck, who also kicks ass. ODST filled in a lot of gaps and introduced a whole 'nother side of the Halo universe, which kicks ass laughing.

ODST wasnt as good as the other halo titles mostly because you didnt have superhuman powers such as jumping to a certain height or recharging all of the damage done to you to nothing but instead you had to get by using cover instead of running out guns blazing and the other point is that stealth on halo doesnt work very well and as a weak character you cant get caught in the middle of a fight and expect to live.
I did enjoy ODST but much preferred the other titles.

Stealth can work wonders in Mombasa Streets if you do it right. The wrecked vehicles and such aren't just there for decoration: use them to sneak up on unexpecting squads, or completely avoid them to get to your objective faster.

ODST is my favorite Halo game. I love everything about it from the music and atmosphere to aesthetics and combat. I loved the nighttime HUB and the daytime missions. Many people say it's too hard, but playing on Legendary with a buddy and a few skulls on make it a challenge, especially when you don't use vehicles.

The SMG and Magnum were nice additions, and the VISR and Map were fun to use. I loved the surreal, film noir environment, and the mission direction was pretty solid. Firefight was also a blast, even though it was limited.

My only dislike towards ODST is the replay value. Sadie's story helped that a lot (which I enjoyed finding and listening to), but the rest of the game is very limited. When I think of ODST, I think of it with a void in my gut about how I long for a sequel. I wish it wasn't a side project and Bungie had time to fully flesh it out.

If more of my friends liked playing it, I would play ODST's Campaign over Reach any day.
