no way man...NVIDIA's dead now.. ATI's the new reigning king of graphocs cards
I agree 100%. The best card, not nessesscarily the best for the money, but just the plain best is the 6800 ultra. I am gonna go with the x800pro myself.
i got the ATI Raedon 9800 Pro man....how much DDR does the 6800 hav? the 9800 has 128 mb.
Devil is Double is Deuce and Joker always trumps Deuce.
I have the ATi 9200 and even though it's getting old, it's still a solid graphics card and handles Doom 3 quite nicely. So buy an ATi card.
6800>ATI 9800 line, Nvidia FX line.6800GT>or=X800pro6800Ultra>or=X800XTNvidia's performance is much greater in OpenGL rendering games like Doom 3. This round the Nvidia 6800 series is a better product.

I got the Radeon X800 XT right now... *Dances* :)
Some guy made this for me.
You guys are all so lucky. Try playing Halo on a three year-old computer, with an Nvidia GeForce 5200FX, and winning. It's harder than it looks.[Edited on 8/18/2004 11:12:05 PM]
I'll be on my own side.
i have to play Halo with a piece of -blam!- integrated chip. it has 64 megs, when the requirements are 32 minimum, and its still not good enough
