One thing I want to know is,is there going to be a Halo movie and if so who is going to direct it,like in my personal opinion I think someone who has made great movies should direct movie, like James Camron who made Avatar which made billions.where in the storyline is the movie going to start and is it going to focus on master Chief or Humanity as a whole and if so how is it going to introduce the characters from the series into the movie.
Who is going to play the characters,And in the movie you would have to pick the right guy to play as Master Chief and you would have to show his face because if you didn't the movie would get boing really fast because the main character has no face.
To make a successfull movie you would have to have a good intro that explains the struggle of humanity and how Spartans where made. This would allow people that have never played Halo, get caught up with everyone else. You would have to have good CG and what would make it really good is,if Master Chief got wounded. That would add suspense to the film.

Halo. Alpha Halo. Arriving there, discovering stuff, and blowing it up.

Make some new marine squad the main characters. Have them interact with the Chief often, and have them survive in a stinger ending but stranded so as not to interfere with First Stike. You're 1/3rd of the way to a hit trilogy already.

I hear they're going to focus on a straight-up FoR first, then follow up through the books. This may work, and it'll sure be interesting how they reconcile the two DOOMED timelines of the battle of Reach into each other. This means we won't see Halo until the second movie. Being The Flood, this'll basically make it my idea with less interesting characters and more of a focus on the Chief's exploits.

The third movie in this rumored trilogy'd be First Strike. Lord knows that's solid. "Halo: The Movie 4" would finally get us to Earth.

I hope Master Chief isn't in a movie at all. Let's face it, he's a very two-dimensional character. The same could be said for many, if not all the spartans in the series. Honestly, I wouldn't care if I didn't see them at all, but that's not likely to happen. I'll settle for no MC.

I think it would be best if a movie mostly had new characters, rather than existing ones from the series. Like I say, characters have never been the series' strong point.

I think the most important thing, though, is that whoever directs it is given a good deal of creative control. 343/Bungie might know what gamers want in terms of a plot, but a movie wouldn't be made just for them. It has to appeal to people who don't even play video games, and I think in this case the director knows better how to make the film a commercial success.

Not even as a cameo?

Imagine, our marine protagonist is in a bind somewhere near the Silent Cartographer. His commanding officer ONI spook action girl (herself a cooler expy of Dare) is busy fending off an Elite or something. Two grunts close in on our Corporal, more than ready to gnaw on our unhelmeted protagonist's fleshy face! Our hero dives for a shotgun, misses. Suddenly, a shadow large enough to cover the marine and the grunts falls over the scene. Citizen Kane vision kicks in, and pans onto the iconic powered armor we know and love.

Neck snaps ensue.

Our ONI spook just smirks as she finishes off the Elite. All is going just as planned for her.

They hang out with the Chief for a bit, Cortana provides some infodump. The squad leaves just in time for some Flood foreshadowing, as they ship out to go explore the catacombs of Alpha Halo. Hells yeah!

Cave Johnson here, we're done!

PS: If you are reading this comment while imagining my voice, don't panic. That's just a side effect of the testing.

Why would I want anything that we have seen already, Human history has been explored the most, I could honestly care less what happens to chief.

As far as I am concerned, his mission is over, they no longer have any use for him in the near future (Not to mention they can't get to him).

If it was to be anything related to the universe, it would have to be either about grey team, or to be about the Jovian moon wars and the beginning of the UNSC (The only real subject that needs some clarification).

Otherwise I would like to see something about the forerunner, and yes I know about the book, I have already pre-ordered it.

I don't really have much of an opinion about what a Halo movie should be based on, only that I do not want to see it as a retelling of Halo CE. The fact that I had already experienced all of those events is what makes Halo: The Flood sort of boring.

All I know for certain is that, if they ever show any of the Spartans other than John, I would like to see...nay...I demand that Jeffrey Donovan portray Fred.

Read somewhere the Spartan-II characters for the FoR movie would be more fleshed out and more expressive then the current ones.

I hope so, I like a good story with characters I can get attached too.

That could be both good and bad. If they do it wrong the extra charactarization will come off as derailment.

Spartans never die, they're just 'Missing In Action'

Halo should be 5 movies.

1. Origins of the spartan up through first contact/first battles of harvest

2. Spartans receive the Mk IV armor up through the fall of reach

Main trilogy

3. Halo CE

4. Return to earth

5. The discovery and use of the ark.
