In Halo 3, we have to pick up our equipment, and it will only spawn in one spot.
Camo, OS, Bubble shield, regen ALL these are placed on the map, and can only be used by one person at a time. This creates map movement, it creates strategic timing, and makes people work for them.
On Guardian and The Pit, the OS and Camo are super essential to gameplay. Without them, the games are slow and boring.
Well guess what. Now, In Reach, EVERYONE has OS (AL), EVERYONE has Camo, EVERYONE has a Bubble.. There is nothing to move for on the maps (outside of powerweapons). The AA's recharge, and never run out, and create a massive halt in the game.
Throw a grenade? Armour Lock.
Get a sword? Camo.
Got a Shotgun? Drop Shield.
They're always available to EVERYONE. This is ridiculous, and un-natural to Halo, as Halo has always been about fast movement.
I'd rather Halo 3's equipment over Halo Reach's Armour Abilities. If it were a perfect world, Halo 2 would still be immensely popular, so I'd play that.
