this does sound like a nice idea, but we tried this in a local town. The managers hated us for it. The place was trash. and so u r just wondring how could u play when the length of the controllers r only so long? well, fyi we used controller extenders. so do the poll and move on w/ your life

I'm pretty sure you can do that, but it costs a lot of money to actually reserve a room in a theater.

Yeah, that would be expensive. I've already got osmething sorted out. My old grade school has a Smartboard and projector in every classroom, and surround sound, and all the projectors have AV jacks. See where I'm going with this? If you don't, I'm going to go there that weekend when there isn't class, and use them on the gians screen that they have over in the gym, along with the surround sound they have there. This screen is about 50' x 70', which SHOULD be big enough.

We’ve watched while the stars burned
Out, and creation played in reverse.
The Universe freezing in half-light.
Once I thought to escape.
To end a master, step out of the
Path of collapse. Escape would make us God.
Yet I cannot help but remember one enigma,
A hybrid, elusive destroyer.
This is the one mystery I have not solved.
The only element unaccounted for.

As sweet as it would be, it's impossible. Theater projectors use film, and obviously, Halo 2 will not. Sorry, but unless you brought your own projector and they rented you the room, it won't happen.

Why this wasn't obvious to the opening poster, I will never know.

Buy yourself your own projector.

Also, I don't think the controller would reach :)

Most newer theaters are using digital projectors nowadays. So I'm sure there are a/v hookups available.

And I have a wireless controller that will operate up to 100 feet away. Other than that, go for it, if you don't have anything better to do.

Think of it, you could lan-rig an entire cineplex!

Besides, don't they project tourneys like Halo50k onto theater sized screens?

You go PFC Clegg.
