Ok, but my question is this: if I bought HALO CE, do I still need to download the upgrade from that site? I'm extracting all the maps and everything, but I can't find them for the life of me when I try to join or set up a multiplayer game. FRUSTRATING. :(

Wait, wait... I think I'm about to answer my own question. HALO CE refers to "custom edition"- not "Combat Evolved?" Right? I thought there was a non-"Combat Evolved" version for PC that was released earlier, and a "Combat Evolved" version- hence why you would need to download the upgrade. Am I right?

Halo Custom Edition, is not an upgrade, but a new program based off of Halo PC meant for custom map creation. You have to download it.
