Micro. sees the world as green and black. Green if threads like this can demonstrate that finically this remake or port would make them money with low risk of failure they will do this. The likely hood they are sympathetic to individuals that enjoyed sharing the H2 experience and want to pay back loyal fans is extremely low and is in the black (out of their consciousness).
It's a sad state but they are living in that type of mind set. It has worked for them in the past, but the gaming world is much different breed of industry, where people have no need to buy they will buy based on loyalty and memory.
Getting rid of H2 on XBL therefore was a terrible idea as it ruined that base from which generation of good memories occurred.
Mario and Sonic and many game brands out their used better ways of taking the best parts of the game and making it easily accessible to build those good memories and loyalty each time a player played the game.
H2 campaign doesn't showcase the best qualities of H2 (easily, you have to really play through areas to get to the best parts usually) the online gameplay did. It's sorta like the halo franchise eating away at itself losing out to better run games like COD.

Petitions are against the rules, and are about as effective as making a bajillion "BRING BACK H2" threads. They don't work.
