I miss the halo 3 glory days. Back when all of our friends would get on halo 3 for a good day of custom games and matchmaking. Every day a new map. Every weekend a new double exp playlist thrill. The long hours spent on ranks and achievements. The infamous vidmasters. And of cours our always vigilent minds playing game after game just waiting to see a bungie member. The coveted flaming helmet. Boy, that takes back to when i was a squeaker. The first time I met I'm sure I had about spaz attacks. So tell me do you have any fond memories of your halo 3 glory days?

Pronounced "Nay-uss"

The endless customs, trollin' BTB, helping friends rank up, epic objective games...

Just a few of the many things I'll cherish for a long time, despite some of the game's glaring flaws

As a campaign-only guy, I've got to say almost everything. The sheer toughness of the first level to the WTF aspect at the end of Covenant...Man, Reach is great, but, this was a campaign.

Winner of the 2012 Lurker of the Year award.

I'm watching you.

The only "glory days" I had would either be when H3 first came out or back in the beta when everyone would just play custom games with 300% speed, low gravity and plasma pistols.

I'm sorry America is busy helping others in the world and actually making a difference.

Something Canada will never do.

And I regret not being part of those days.

I'm a late glitcher, having acquired Halo 3 in 2007, but opening and having begun playing it in 2008.

:(

I had already played Halo Combat Evolved, but it didn't feel special. But when I first played Halo 3, that was a life changing moment for me. I dedicated myself to glitching on that very day. And now, it's community is dying.

Don't even get me started.

As much as it frustrated me then, I miss the days when I struggled to get a 45. One of my good friends from early childhood (who happened to show me Halo back in 2002 when I was 9 years old) played Team Doubles with me all the time. We were both stuck at Colonel Grade 2 for almost year, yet I still consider those days the most fun I've ever had playing Halo 3. I'll never forget the day we got his 45. We won 25-24 in a game of Team BRs on Narrows. 24-24, He was one shot at Blue Sniper and I was directly above him. I threw a power drain at the guy chasing him who was in R1, then got a clean headshot on him with my BR. The reaction was absolutely priceless. I also miss the days of being stuck at a Brigadier Grade 2... it must have been the idea that there was still something (rank-wise) substantial to achieve. After I got my first 50, I enjoyed the game a bit less, although I still played a lot and my skill improved greatly.

Something Witty.

Halo 3 came out while I was in Iraq, I remember 4 of us sitting around a 20 inch TV playing against each other. Damn it was hard to snipe!
