Don't even get me started.
As much as it frustrated me then, I miss the days when I struggled to get a 45. One of my good friends from early childhood (who happened to show me Halo back in 2002 when I was 9 years old) played Team Doubles with me all the time. We were both stuck at Colonel Grade 2 for almost year, yet I still consider those days the most fun I've ever had playing Halo 3. I'll never forget the day we got his 45. We won 25-24 in a game of Team BRs on Narrows. 24-24, He was one shot at Blue Sniper and I was directly above him. I threw a power drain at the guy chasing him who was in R1, then got a clean headshot on him with my BR. The reaction was absolutely priceless. I also miss the days of being stuck at a Brigadier Grade 2... it must have been the idea that there was still something (rank-wise) substantial to achieve. After I got my first 50, I enjoyed the game a bit less, although I still played a lot and my skill improved greatly.
