I <3 Combat Evolved

Just imagine playing as a Spartan II that properly fits into the cannon. Invasion just got a lot more lopsided. Not only are your shields stronger then the covenant shields, but you're stronger, faster, and more adaptable then any Elite thrown at you. I only wish, don't you?

I wish that they'd throw together a game type, even if just on bungie day, that had everything properly adjusted to the cannon. First, it would shut up everybody that keeps making threads about it (such as this one). Two, it would show off this game as it should be, unfair. No aspect between the Covenant and Human race is even, it's either one or the other is better. Covenants > Space battles, Humans > Ground battles. I just don't know why we didn't EMP the -blam- out of the coventant ships to deactivate them, then go to town.

this thread was pointless and random, but I felt like posting something.

Well Invasion isn't really considered canon what with it being MM but Elite shields are stronger in Invasion anyway.

I know, and it specifically said in the books that Humans stole the covenant shields and made them better. Oh well...

Humans stole jackal shields and improved them.

Fail, elites are just as strong as spartans and have equal or stronger shields. Plus if it was canon, then plasma weapons would be far stronger. The only reason spartans won is because they were better soldiers, they did not have better weapons or armor.

Fail, have you read the books? Plasma is super heated gas, with Titanium being the UNSC metal of choice. Titanium has the awesome habit of not being corrosive, so the plasma would not easily burn through this metal. Also, we improved on their shields for our own soldiers. And yes, the armor was exceeding all expectations.

Corrosion is to do with acid. If it's super heated gas then it either boils or melts.

Leave troll, the books clearly state that the plasma burns through titanium like butter.

Something tells me you don't know as much about Halo's canon as you think you do...
