This man, this man right here put it so eloquently that I actually cancelled my own 2000+ word long post.
/slow clap for respect

The person who said participating is important, not winning, obviously never won anything.

Title for Reference.

IMO:

Halo CE: 343 Guilty Spark Swamp

Halo 2: High Charity

Halo 3: Cortana/Sierra 117

Halo 3 ODST: NMPD HQ

Halo Reach: Winter Contingency/ New Alexandria

Each of these levels for me, had the most unique combat scenarios in the whole series. I'm sure most of you can wonder why I choose each on of these. All of them had incredible scenery and are very memorable for me.

But the one that probably excels more for me is Winter Contingency. I just LOVE the scenery, the atmosphere, Marcus's waterfalls, the music. For me, it had to be probably Bungie's most realized levels. A master piece.

What are your favorite unique scenarios in each Halo game?

Well to me...

halo ce - coming out of the bumblebee (rite after pillar of autumn) and seeing everything

halo 2 - Scarab level were you jump onto it. i thought it was very cool

halo 3 - either sierra 117 or the hornet level. i rlly liked the hornet lvl for some reason.

halo odst - probably uplift reserve. i liked halo 3 reg. and odst music

halo reach - nightfall. i was pretty disappointed with the halo reach campaign. not enough marines and in my opinion, bad music. i think halo 3's was the best.

"I only speak two languages: English and Bad English,"
-Bruce Willis, The Fifth Element

I escaped into the waves. The waves...
I went Underground!

Mombasa Streets: The hub for the rest of ODST's levels, and a cool little portion of the city for you to explore.

The most definitive would have to be the bomb on Halo 2

Everything will be gone long before me. When the first living thing was born, I was here, waiting. When the last living thing dies, my job is finished. I'll put the chairs on the tables, turn out the lights and lock the universe behind me when I leave.

Delta Halo/Regret in Halo 2. God I loved that level so much (except the boss fight at the end). It was just beautiful architecture and scenery. It also had a really mysterious edge to it (who made those old buildings? We still never found out I don't think).

"Happiness is like glass, you might not always notice it but if you change your view and then that glass will sparkle when it reflects the light."

I loved Delta halo because of the warhog and tank crazyness. Then the fight with two hunters and gondola fights. Then going underwater with a dead body on top of the elevator and then sniping the turrets on Regret's base.
In halo 1 I loved the snow valley becauce of finding lost marine squads and then that giant horde at the end.
In halo 3 I loved The covenant because of the time travel glitch and blowing up the scarabs.
In halo reach the best level was New Alexandria because of its pelican driving abilitys.

stoopidmunke

-In Halo 1 I liked saving the marines in the second level

-Halo 2 I liked fighting on Earth and on High Charity as the Chief

-Halo 3 I kinda liked the first level and tsavo highway...idk why

-ODST I liked the first level you play as Buck

-Reach I liked the first level, the rest were just kinda all right. If the whole game was more like the first level....well everyone would've been really bored with it but I would've loved it.

CE: Silent Cartographer. The beach landing was really insanely cool. Best cinematic moment was the introduction to the flood.
2: The mission where you play as the Arbiter and you take on the flood. Also, a defining moment in Halo 2 I will never forget are the conversations with Gravemind. :D Best soundtrack in all of Halo.
3: The Covenant was the most climatic level as far as "we're here, let's blow -blam!- up" goes. The scene where John reunites with Cortana always gives me shivers up my spine.
ODST: NMPD HQ was really unique and fun to play. I loved Buck all throughout the campaign. Of course the rookie was a complete disaster being dead silent the whole time.
Wars: Beachhead was the best level in my opinion. The Forge vs. Ripa cutscene was the coolest -blam!-. xD Also had a really cool soundtrack.
Reach: Long Night of Solace was jammed pack with different sights and plot twists. Being able to fly in a Sabre was really cool. Lone Wolf hit me with "I'm the last one left. Everyone else is dead and gone. More phantoms coming in."

Can anyone argue that the space battle was not the single most unique level of them all? it was mostly fought in a SABRE! i think they could have done so much more with it, but it has personally my favorite level in an otherwise dreary, dull, and cannon-demolishing campaign.

Signatures are for squares.

Halo CE: Truth and Reconciliation. The sniping portion of the level was just executed flawlessly, and with [i]under cover of night[i] playing it's just an excellent gameplay experience, even now.

Halo 2: Delta Halo. So beautiful a level. Lot's of variety. And ODST's.

Halo 3: The Covenant. Most varied level ever. Infantry, light vehicles, tanks, hornets, every type of enemy(Save sentinels) Just great.

ODST: Mombasa streets. I loved the open world. I can still have fun in it to this day. I love wandering the streets attacking patrols.

Reach: Long Night of Solance. SPACE COMBAT. I just wish it was longer, and it was a Longsword, not a Sabre.

My name: rufemee comes from the Elite Heritic leader: Sesa Refumee
But I spelt the name wrong

Halo CE: Two betrayals because of the massive encounter when there are two wraiths, a pair of hunters, a zealot, a bunch of shades and an army of flood(Probably the biggest sandbox encounter that I know)
Halo 2:Uprising its the level where you are the Arbiter and the only objective is to get revenge on the brutes.
Halo 3: The covenant at the part where you face two scarabs (Again very sandbox)
Halo 3 ODST:Mombassa streets(For being an awsome mission)
Halo wars:Probably the level where you have to take down the super scarab.
Halo Reach:Pillar of Autumn at the part where you are on the map Boneyard and you have to get past a smeg load of covenant infantry and vehicles.

Halo CE: Truth and Reconciliation, always liked being in an actual spaceship!

Halo 2: Sacred Icon/Quarantine Zone, it just felt right.

Halo 3: The Covenant, had everything imaginable in it, tanks, warthogs, hornets the lot!

ODST: Strangely my favourite is the drop sequence, the graphics and feeling in that short cinematic were, in my opinion, the best in the series.

Reach: Probably the Pillar of Autumn, the gritty feel, along with the music and the cut scenes were awesomely combined.

Halo CE: Silent Cartographer, because I love the stealth aspect in the beginning, and Assault on the Control Room, simply because it is a massive level with lots of enemies, weapons, vehicles, etc.

Halo 2: I will never forget the Scarab. Metropolis is simply amazing when it comes to city levels. I also liked the encouter with Gravemind and the final battle against Tartarus.

Halo 3: The Covenant, simply amazing. I remember jumping out of a Hornet and landing on (and hijacking) a Banshee 20 feet below me.

ODST: The scene where the massive Brute attacks all the ODSTs on top of the building. And the drop.

Halo Wars: The Monsters cutscene.

Halo Reach: I don't know, the whole game had amazing scenarios.

Halo CE: The Silent Cartographer level, it was my first glimpse of what the Halo installations were designed to do, it changed the whole feel of the game from then on.

Halo II: The level in New Mombasa was the best for me, not sure why, just felt that way.

Halo III: The first level, felt a very cool, very realised military theme to it, the whole bunker thing with the marines and rocket launcher identifying the Pelican using its IFF, very cool level.

Halo ODST: The Finale, the best level in ODST, with the Covenant Cruisers jumping into atmosphere above your heads when your on the highway, tipped of by the glassing from Assault Carrier.

Halo Reach: Best campaign from all the games by a good margin for me, but the best levels were Winter Contingency/Sword Base, they felt so current somehow, the use of twin rotor VTOLs like the V-22 for insersion of a special forces squad, and the whole level flowed effortlessly from. other cool moments for me was the anti-aircraft gun, its basically a CIWS from modern ships, which added to the 'realism' factor and the target locator is cool piece of equipment. Reach overall is the best in my opinion, much more mature and adult than the previous games, thats why it appeals to me more than the others.

I have exactly the same except in Halo 2 it's probably High Charity. Seeing the Covenant civil war raging everywhere.
