I posted a thread recently to discuss a problem experienced by many on xbox live. I will not state the problem here as the moderators will view it as 'bringing up the subject'. My thread did not bring up the questions, which the moderator stated as being the reasons for it being locked, as to whether or not something is allowed on Xbox Live or Bungie.net. My thread was about the fact that the issue is NOT allowed, yet continues to happen and policies of enforcement need to change to combat this problem.

Forgive me if I don't see how mindless flaming gets anywhere.

If I may suggest that you contact the "guilty" moderator via PM and work out the issue that way?

Regarding the thread titles in question (including this one), I never quite understood the concept of insulting someone just before asking them to do something. Has there been some change in human behaviour recently that I'm not aware of? Because, in my experience, getting in someone's face doesn't result in their best efforts to say the least. Indeed, it tends to produce the opposite.

-- Steve suggests trying a different tack if you want actual results. Like, say, reporting offenders in the proper manner instead of holding a petulant temper-tantrum in a forum that someone else isn't doing it for you?

if you have a problem with a mod, talk to them about it.
'rallying up the troops' here, isnt going to solve anything, but it will make u look incompitent

The mods here are anything but incompetent. The closest thing to incompetent that they are is often a little drunk......

Anyways. PM the Moderator. Discuss it with him. Also, if you genuinely feel a moderator has done his job poorly, contact a master moderator. If it is a master moderator, contact Achronos. And most likely, the were doing their job just fine, and it was an error on your part.

That would explain what happened here.

If you cannot be civil, there's no reason anyone should have to listen. I'm willing to believe the moderator that locked your thread did the right thing.

How dare you question our moderators???This is an outrage, wh yhas the banhammer only struck once in this thread???

Anyway, The moderators here do a great job, and I think if oyur thread was locked a much more approprate response would have been to PM the mod who locked it, not b**ching to the people in zanzibar and, thanks to Recon, the people in the septagon
