I?

I am a monument to all your sins.

Click on your own profile. Select 'Game Settings' and then select 'Nameplates'.

Scroll down to the Halo 3 nameplate (the one for Reach) and read the description.

It reads...

''If you haven't yet played any Halo 3, don't worry, you still have time to get some games in.''

...time to get games SOME games in?

Is this the beginning of the end of Halo 3?

...Don't read too deep into things.

I'm sorry America is busy helping others in the world and actually making a difference.

Something Canada will never do.

halo 3 was the 7th most played game on XBL last month.

obviously not.

  • 12.07.2010 3:02 PM PDT

No. They only shut down Halo 2 because they were shutting down all XBL service for original Xbox games.

  • 12.07.2010 3:14 PM PDT

Only if Microsoft breaks it's own rule it has something to do with you have to allow live service as long as a certain amount of games are played.

  • 12.07.2010 3:30 PM PDT

If it ain't my chair, it ain't my problem. That's what I say.

Halo 3 will die when Xbox 360 Live support dies.

Something Witty.

they will shut it down if the number of players drops too low, other than that they probably wont shut it until they make a new version of xbl

  • 12.08.2010 6:47 AM PDT

Wrong.

well if they do bungie should send every one recon armour like a year before it ends

  • 12.08.2010 1:30 PM PDT

or, upon shutting it down, give everyone the achievements that can only be achieved in halo3 match playing.

The sarcasm isn't necessary or appreciated. You made an assumption based on absolutely no hard evidence or facts. Halo 2's population was maybe one tenth of what Halo 3's currently is, and still was not taken offline until Microsoft removed Xbox Live support for all original Xbox games. Some Xbox Live games have 15 total players at any given time and haven't been shut down.

if they ever do shut it down with out a new xbl ill kick ms right in the daddy bags

That would defeat the purpose of earning them.

Don't you dare utter those words!

Once a Spartan, Always a Spartan. Reach is, and will always be considered home. Remember Reach, and all who were lost.

Don't worry. Halo 3 will remain live on X-Box Live. The only difference you'll notice are playlist reductions. They've stated in a weekly update that they were going to reduce the number of playlists, but keep those core playlists, game types, and map types needed to get the achievements on the game.

Don't fret. You'll be in good hands.
