Sighness

Indubidubly. Banana.

So many things I can say to this one post =)

Rush games (Trying to beat it in a set time limit)
Legendary can be tough for some
Flood with Rockets =/= Fun
Wraiths

And the list goes on, lil' guy =)

No soldier should be honored for doing what is expected
of him. He is after all, just doing his job.

Arbitor has Camouflauge which lets you get BY everything....I think that owns a flashlight -_-; Unless you could use your flashlight as a melee. That'd be cool, like in Doom3. The flashlight is Godly >XD

Not really, they came after me even i use Camo, i think they can "sense" Us even we are in Camo"

I think they were scarier in Halo because once they came out you had to totally re-think your tactics, I know after a while it became pretty easy to take out the elite(s) and watch the grunts scurry and just mop them up. Once the flood came at you in massive numbers it was totally different to deal with. In Halo 2 you pretty much new how to take them out although the re-animating flood was really cool, and they made creepier noises/screams in Halo 2, I still think Halo's flood were more scary because of the surprise.

Everytime I play, they never came at me. However if you go right next to them or bump into them then they'll pick your sense up and smack you. Then your Camo goes away and stuff. Also, if they see you camoflauge, they'll know where you are too =)

Also, there really should have been a cutscene introducing the flood in halo 2. That wouldve helped. Movies = good.

the flood was the worst part of haloand alo 2 so they had better fit in better with the story by the end of the series

Halo 1 was meant to be a game about the flood and their nature. Bungie triedto show Flood like zombies to make them scare. And they're pretty scary in Halo 2 too. Ever seen all the muscles on the dead combat form? Sick. Freaky. Scary.

Huh, this is a hard one....

Because when you played the flood it was the first time, in the second game, your kind of used to them, kinda.

The place to be.....
Ownage.....
The Hax War!.....
Conquerer of Sniper McGee's empire..........

The reason why they are not scary is because they are not new..........you are accustomed to seeing them so they no longer startle you.............

Also, I think it is the graphics. I seem to be the only person who noticed this but even though the graphics are more detailed, they are also more like cartoons or something. And being scared of cartoons is definitely not easy. Also, there is of course how you expect them, although they did add some features in Halo 2 which were surprising. But the ones in Halo 2 are also more shiny. It is starting to seem like the basis is for good graphics is how shiny you can make everything, like in a picture for the next Elder Scrolls, Oblivion I think it is, a stone building with white paint can just about blind you. They do not seem to realize that Flood are not supposed to be shiny. Also, that messes up their coloring. They definitely looked more like rotting flesh in Halo: CE. So basically, I think the main problem is the graphics, they creatures are made of rotting Flesh and yet they are pretty smooth, and even shiny.

The Flood have to be there, they serve the same purpose as the W'rkcancter or whatever from the Marathon series, and Halo is just the "infinte pattern" in which the "hybrid destroyer" or "all of the destructive knowledge of mankind" fits. The Flood and the Marathon thing that starts with a W are chaos, and the Master Chief, or humanity's destructiveness can either cause it or stop it. Thus, they are a very important element in the story, and I think in Halo 3 we will see whether or not humanity's destruction causes the chaos which destroys humanity or if it prevents it this time around.
