Also, I think it is the graphics. I seem to be the only person who noticed this but even though the graphics are more detailed, they are also more like cartoons or something. And being scared of cartoons is definitely not easy. Also, there is of course how you expect them, although they did add some features in Halo 2 which were surprising. But the ones in Halo 2 are also more shiny. It is starting to seem like the basis is for good graphics is how shiny you can make everything, like in a picture for the next Elder Scrolls, Oblivion I think it is, a stone building with white paint can just about blind you. They do not seem to realize that Flood are not supposed to be shiny. Also, that messes up their coloring. They definitely looked more like rotting flesh in Halo: CE. So basically, I think the main problem is the graphics, they creatures are made of rotting Flesh and yet they are pretty smooth, and even shiny.
