Subject: 304 vs PoA

When did the PoA carry a NOVA?

Never. The NOVA was an experimental weapon of unknown yield not known to be carried on any UNSC ships and only used a single time.

Obviously you haven't read the deleted content of "Fall of Reach" which stated the PoA was transporting a prototype NOVA during the Sigma Octanus IV battle. A few of the Ensigns were begging Jacob to use it but he disagreed as it would affect the planet. It's still a wonder why this was removed, it was only around 6 new sentences although I guess they wanted to keep the NOVA secret until the Battle of Reach.

For those that don't know, the BC-304's are Earth's main class of battlecrusier in the Stargate universe.

lol they have Asgard technology to in otherwords they have Lasers(and Shields)! BC-304>Everest sorry Cole

Also I suspect the Flood would triumph over the replicators because of the existence of human for Replicators as the flood could simply manipulate/persuade them to join them like they did with Mercandant Bias

The what now?

Do you have any source that indicates that these "deleted scenes" existed?

The Iroquois was used by Keyes at SOIV, not the POA.

On a related note could anything from the Stargate universe stand up to the Flood? I mean those gates would let the flood spread fast(once the flood get through game over...)

first point, the NOVA didn't destroy any of the planet it merely 'scorched' it, now there is a huge difference between scorch and destroy, the moon was absolutely tiny is another point worth noting, so the planets atmosphere was probably fried but the planet itself would be relatively un-touched.

also hit and run tactics? whats your point? its simple tactics to use your strength and your enemies weaknesses against them, i.e. the Daedalus for example is much much faster than the Autumn, so use your speed and agily against it since the Autumn is too big and ungainly to really combat a ship like that, also why in hell would you foolishly rush headlong at a ship with an enormous cannon pointing at you? thats just utter, complete stupidity, so of course you would use hit and run tactics, unless of course you want to die...?

Edit: also your failing to see the obvious, for example nuke Mount Everest with the Tsar Bomb (biggest nuke ever made, 50 megatons) and you will do absolutely sweet nothing, sure you might damage it a little bit but overall it would be fine. same thing applies to the NOVA, its not just some miracle weapon, its just a really big nuclear bomb that has the same disadvantages, put it on a planet and there is no way it would destroy the planet, let alone 'crack it in half'. the best method of using a weapon like that would be to have it burrow into the target, then explode, that would yield best possible results, imagine putting the Tsar Bomb in the middle of Mount Everest and repeating the same hypothetical experiment..?

thank you! some one understands physics , a noa placed on a planets surface will make a crater but the force wont travel through the planet , now place the nova in the core of a planet , and say good bye to it

yeah nothing worse than planet destroying nuclear bombs, think the NOVA is a mis-understood weapon.
