That made me chuckle.

Anyways, the feature I thought about implementing has probably been thought of. I'd like to see a more in depth profile. Almost like a small blog (that you don't update). Something similar to the profiles on the Roosterteeth website (minus the updating part).

Just a thought. =)

i havent posted here in a while (steampowered forums' fault) but what really bugs me is the lack of a search feature on these forums. i see 3820 pages of topics on the new mombasa forums and i know that there would've been half that amount if there was a search feature so mods will have a reason to lock threads that are the same as the one two threads down.

(btw, i was wondering, does anyone have a link to my big WHAT DO YOU WANT FOR HALO 3 thread?)

All those who believe in psychokinesis, raise my hand.

A spell check would be great!

I think if done properly the Karma system would add that little bit of flare that is missing.

Mourne not your comrades who must dwell / too strong to strive -
Within each steel-bound coffin of a cell, / Buried alive;
But rather mourne the apathetic throng / The cowed, and the meek -
Who see the world’s great anguish and its wrong / And dare not speak.

Bungie already said that the Karma system will not have any user imput. It will be automatic.

Where did you see that? I'll go look for it, but if I knew where to start, it would help.

I like a lot of the ideas I've seen here, but the two I would like the most are the Karma system and the Search Feature.

I'm thinking more a forum search, not the entire site. Some nice filters would be:
* Topic keyword
* Creator
* Date created
* Members who replied

Also, it would be nice if you could search for recent posts by a member.

The search would be helpful for me mostly to find old posts by mods. That way you could find explanations that they gave, and official statements.

I have a small gripe with the -blam!- filter. In a previous post, I put at the top
"*-blam!- head*"
That totally looks like an insult. What word is it? It's synonomous with "rooster" and can mean "to tilt the head, as if in confustion." Plus, the thread was locked, so it looks like I insulted the person.

Case in point: the topic starter replied to me in a rather vulgar manner. However, this was because he implied that I called him a sh-- head.

The search feature should have the highest priority. Almost everyone who posts on the subject thinks it is important.

This will ensure your bungie.net posts are formatted properly.

Increase the maximum limit when creating polls because 8 just isn't always enough.

-Quaere verum.

Got a report? Use the report tool or send a pm.
Chairleg Productions presents: 'Console Wars' and 'Games as Art?' (also on Halo Waypoint).

1) custom avatars or image sigs.
-Achronos has expressed his feelings on this. Basically, not going to happen.

-Fonts styles, perhaps but only comprehensible ones should be allowed. Colours used to be a feature, but no more. I doubt this will be re-introduced.

1.) Member of the month. (Someone possibly a current mod or different member assigned to this.)
2.)Search function
3)Poll on front page
4.)I know this is herecy, but a non halo themed forum and bungie website. Something more neutral, such as maybe a Bungie theme to the whole site.

P.S. Question for achronos, why is the website halo 2 themed? Maybe this was already discussed and i missed it.

A Reputation system,

Visable post count,

Personal sigs and av's,

and visable Join date.

All really the things that makes MLGPRO.com good. These things are really so people can recognise other members who are more experienced in the forums, and perhaps have a "Regulars" forum for people who have to have a certain amount of rep and post count etc.
Just a thought.

This site isn't Halo 2 themed. If you are refering to the blue background, it was like this before Halo 2 came out. Otherwise, I'm not really sure what you mean by H2 theme.

This is a Halo 2 theme. It is Halo 2 themed because Halo 2 is, right now, Bungie's latest game. It became Halo 2 themed around 6 months before Halo 2 was released.

KOTOR | The WarriorsI'll chain you to the truth for the truth shall set you free

1. A fix to the "edit link" glitch. Very annoying, and very frustrating.

2. A fix to the "ghost PM" glitch. Also annoying.

3. More group features. Bring back the old Column!

Ok this thread has been on here for more then 5 months and all we have from the powers that be are "OK is this what we want to do?" I guess I'd like to see "Here what we are going to do" or "We can't do this because Jupiter is not in line with Saturn or whatever" I'd like to see an update from the Community guys.

The suggestions from the ninjas that would make there life easier should be seriously considered. I'll add one more if it hasn't already been suggested. A button in the post that will send an e-mail to the ninjas with a link to the objectionable post. They click the link and are taken right to the post with all there mod tools at the ready.

Karma would be cool and a search feature shouldn't have to be asked for. It's like a reference book not having a index or table of contents.

Oh and thank you for keeping Bungie.net smiley-free. :)

Post counts have been BANNED for good. Personal sigs and av's, well as long as Achronos is running the site he said never!

I want to see different bungie.net themes. Like groups, we can pick our themes via settings.

I apologise, The Bungie.net forums require posting in English as a prerequisite for membership.

Abutebaris modo subjunctivo denuo

I would ditto everyone on the Karma and search...postcount.. etc

I personally think that the site has come a long way. I love the integration of people's gamer tags and the stats. I think the groups option is great and the information posted by Bungie on a weekly basis is excellent way to keep in touch with the community. I am also happy that they removed the leader boards.

Changes I would suggest to Bungie would be put a search option on the forums so that repeat threads are not common. I would also like to see some new items in the Voting Booth to discuss.

Thank you Bungie and Xbox Live for such a great game and great website.
