An Assault Carrier is very powerful. We need to think this from the terms of the Supercruiser battle in FoR, recent releases or not.
It took the PoA 3 MAC rounds and hundreds of Archers to down the shields of the supercruiser. The Assault Carrier's shields are presumably stronger.
The SoF looks useless, unless we assume those MAC rounds were Graftoned for gameplay reasons, in which case it's more powerful than the PoA on that front.
Because of the simple fact that UNSC ships can only shoot forward, their anti-Rtas tactics are limited to a brute charge. The local smart AI shall initiate evasive maneuvers like those Keyes loved to use, and sync the weapons for a single salvo that destroys the shields so that a nuke can be planted on the midsection of the Shadow of Intent.
Team Keyes can fire 4 MAC rounds and 9000 archer missiles, 6 shivas and the finisher longsword (with decoy squadrons) in one salvo. Team Cole non-nerf can fire 6 MAC rounds, thousands of archers and presumably three or more shivas. In the end, the power looks roughly equal.
The questions are, is that enough for an Assault Carrier? How skilled exactly is Rtas, being a spec-ops commander; would he be able to sense the plan and counter it? If this is a three-way fight, how do the dynamics of that work?
