Halo is dead. Linked tag is permanently banned from XBL

I'll be playing H3 until a real Halo game comes out. All those fun times will still stay with me.

I have played on every button layout for Halo 3 in matchmaking.
It changes with my mood.

It's sad to see a good game dissipate. My entire friends list is gone to play another crappy game.

you cannot compare Halo 3 to Reach, Reach is not a game, its a disc in a plastic green case called pure fail.

Got it? good.

All my perfection matches, I'll never forget them. Plus the fact I've saved all the films =)

Breaking barriers.

h3 had some great times, almost comparable to my time on gow1.

I'm not making excuses. I never claimed to be good. I have never played any colonel better than me though.

Major C.B.

Halo 3 online was just general mayhem. I was a Lone Wolves playlist nut when it first came out, and I loved it. Then I went through a clan phase for a while, and started truly honing my skills. Then my clans all collapsed, and I went through a "play Halo 3 occasionally" phase that mostly included custom games... I'll always truly miss Halo 3's competitive peak. Reach simply isn't competitive, and no game before Halo 3 provided me with the same competitive drive.

Oh and sorry for the double post, but I also wanted to say this: Nothing like Halo 3 maps for me; specifically map packs. I would literally stay up on a Halo 3 binge through the night until 4 AM, when they would come out. Then I would Forge them or play on them (provided the playlist was up) for four hours, until school started. Then I would come home from school and do it again. That experience, especially for the Legendary map pack, was amazing. Come to think of it... I didn't really do this for any other map pack. Heroic came out days before I got Halo 3. I did do it for Mythic I, but it wasn't the same having no friends; all my friends bought Halo Wars to get the maps, and so were already used to them. Mythic II wasn't a thing to me, as by then I was tired of Halo 3, plus too focused on Firefight.

So that's my big memory: The map pack releases. Specifically Legendary and Mythic I. The maps just had such a life to them that, since, the only DLC to do that for me was a single map: Noble's Tempest. That map seemed to have the same captivating "presence" when it was released. None of the others did, though...

Why does everyone hate Halo 2? Maybe its because its the worst game ever next to mario.

Nice video man, seriously. Good Job.

The memory I remember is opening that package for the first time. Popping the disc out of the case and putting it in the tray. Hearing the oh-oh-oh-oooohhhh and getting that feeling in my stomach. Then playing in a game of Valhalla and doing terrible.

The second memory that I will remember is playing social slayer with 4 people. 5 people is way too much for it. It makes the game go by way to fast.

Halo 3 has many good memories. I've met many good people on H3 as well.

Oh, and great vid!

I was greatly disappointed after years of playing Halo 2.
Too bad there are absolutely nothing to remember about Halo 3 for me.

Alas, I have a feeling that I will, too. Hopefully 343 can pull it off. After all, they have some old Bungie employees, correct?

My favorite moment was back in the days of the Killtrocity Shockers, my clan. Heck, the group is still around on bungie.net. I had a blast, checking back on our games through theater mode, pointing out that "hacker" who chucked four sticky grenades even though you could only hold 2. The maps, amazing. There were also so many zombie memories. Half of my friends list would participate in the best of the games - we had DAYS of fun.

Unfortunately, not many will come back until the day that Halo 3 ends on LIVE, hopefully with new technology that won't happen, but you never know.

All it took was a stew of whoopass.

If only I met more trash talkers, then it would be very fun.
