Oh and sorry for the double post, but I also wanted to say this: Nothing like Halo 3 maps for me; specifically map packs. I would literally stay up on a Halo 3 binge through the night until 4 AM, when they would come out. Then I would Forge them or play on them (provided the playlist was up) for four hours, until school started. Then I would come home from school and do it again. That experience, especially for the Legendary map pack, was amazing. Come to think of it... I didn't really do this for any other map pack. Heroic came out days before I got Halo 3. I did do it for Mythic I, but it wasn't the same having no friends; all my friends bought Halo Wars to get the maps, and so were already used to them. Mythic II wasn't a thing to me, as by then I was tired of Halo 3, plus too focused on Firefight.
So that's my big memory: The map pack releases. Specifically Legendary and Mythic I. The maps just had such a life to them that, since, the only DLC to do that for me was a single map: Noble's Tempest. That map seemed to have the same captivating "presence" when it was released. None of the others did, though...
