I've heard some people say his character is awful. Vote your opinion please.

"Were it so easy..." -Thel Vadame.

I really like him- he's that annoying fly buzzing in your ear but important when it comes to the installations.

He'll be better if they show him pre Halo CE.

Yes it would be interesting to hear about him pre-Halo. I suspect that he used to be much more stable and reliable than the times we see him in the games, where he is clearly losing his mind......

I can quite see future novels exploring his past, which will most probably paint him as a tragic character. A noble and dedicated Forerunner AI slowly succumbing to madness and selfishness.

You'd go mad to if you had an amazing home and someone came along and blew it up.

Don't worry, you're still your mom's favorite Bnet member.

343 Guilty Spark I always saw as comic relief. I saw that more often in Halo 2 and 3. I never considered him anything more until he killed Johnson in Halo 3.
Though I kind of feel bad for him. He was always confused. Guilty Spark lost his mind in those 100,000 years of isolation. When Chief first met him in Halo 1, he was already slipping into rampancy. (Rampancy is when an AI becomes corrupt)
