No man has seen one of the giants since the first battle for Seven Gates thirteen years ago. They helped contain the fury of Balor himself for three years, but on the fourth they did not return and the pass was lost.
Well I think this is my first post to these forums, so I'll try not to ramble too much. Due to a variety of circumstances, ODST was the first Halo game I actually played. Now, understand I used to play Myth, way back when, so I'm not "New" to what Bungie has been doing. I even remember back to the days of Marathon and Pathways Into Darkness.
Anyway, I got ODST for my birthday back in October and though the campaign wasn't all that long, I really enjoyed the game. Of course it did leave a ton of unanswered questions and in reality wasn't the best "starting" point for the cumulative storyline in the Halo franchise. Still, the action sequences, story, soundtrack and overall experience were well worth the sticker price, which in this case was far below the 59.99 I would have paid on the day of release.
I should note further that ODST got me interested in the broader franchise, and though I don't have Reach I've managed to acquire all the other games in the series, though again playing them out of order and years after the fact is once more, not ideal. At any rate, that's all for now, cheers!
