Halo 3 felt way more epic than Reach. In Reach, you don't even fight alongside other vehicles. And the scorpion section was quite dull.

I was hoping for this

They did increase the AI, you guys know, right?
They made this claim several times befor Reach came out but I never witnessed it in the game.

Go to preschool and ask the kids there to count the difference.

I'll agree that ODST was disappointing. Stealthiness can be fun, but that's not what I was expecting or buying the game for. They should never have made the team of humans in that game ODST's, because the S stands for "shock", and not one of the guys in that game was a shock trooper. Like in the video linked earlier, shock troopers are how you grab a foothold, like storming Normandy beach. That's how I've always envisioned ODST's: drop, pop out, half are killed immediately, the rest wreck havoc with shotguns and rockets until they're killed or the cavalry arrives.

I'm betting that down the road, we will see a Halo game with very big multiplayer maps, upgradeable loadouts, and purchaseable vehicles. Kind of like C&C Renegade, but awesomer. ODST drops, orbital MAC rounds, carpet bombs, glassing beams, you name it. They could all be implemented as if you were playing inside Halo Wars.
