"Shall we let the Flood consume our holy city? Turn High Charity into another of their wretched hives? No enemy has ever withstood our might. The Flood, too, shall fail."

Halo 2.
Imo, halo 2 was really just a puzzle when it came to jackal snipers. Once you know where they are its easy pickings. Ofc, if you have one inch of your body out from cover for a fraction of a second, have fun in heaven :P
The brutes were also challenging, specifically when they go into rage mode. Also, the brute animations were MUCH more better than in H3.
The checkpoints also had its problems. There were multiple instances where I would go a long way, only to have to restart from a much earlier point.
And I thought the cairo station was very easy. I just spammed grenades, very useful. The section with the bomb was pretty hard though.
But I think the real kicker was fighting brutes for the first time, when you get teleported into high charity. That was so hard. I had to hide in the doors they spawned in and just had to wait for them to come in. It got much easier though when I finally got my hands on a carbine though.
